Blackall Caravan Park
We stayed in the 3 bedroom house across the road from the main park. To start with a positive, the beds weren't too bad. The price we were charged was $20 more than we were quoted on the phone. Charged $210 for the night for 2 people. Receptionist/Manager not particularly friendly or welcoming. The house was awful. Old and extremely run down, Hot water was luke warm in the bathroom and cold in the kitchen. Kitchen scourer was old and had been used before, the house was freezing with inadequate heating, the drains were smelly, and it just felt dirty. Would not recommend.

When have you ever been offered a bath mat when you used the amenities in a caravan park. Never.The Blackall caravan park does. What a lovely touch. A relaxing park to stay at. You get back what you put in. Debby is a lovely lady.

Friendly. Amenities quite good but in need of pest conrol for spiders, Daddy Longlegs...lots of them! Nice sites but a bit washed out with a few ruts so needed timber for jockey wheel to rest on, thats ok. Enjoyable stay, woken before dawn by someone taking bottles and cans from wheely bins. Otherwise very nice!

Although several of my stays were fantastic and the cabin was great (clean and generous in size as well as pet friendly) there was one that didnt meet the previous standard.Cabin 3 was old, run down, in need of repair and was very small and cramped. Given that it would house a family - it left a lot to be desired. It wasnt worth the price. Otherwise i would be happy to stay again.

Very disappointing stay … Have stayed here numerous times over the years and use to be a nice place to stay and we definitely will NOT be back .. We arrived at 3pm and there was no one to be seen onsite had to drive to nearby petrol station to call reception as they weren’t answering door bell Debbie was very hard to understand on the phone … The grounds are very poor condition.. The aircon in the room was full of mould the microwave was disgusting and had baked on old food , rodents out the front of the units , Park definitely is in need of some desperate attention and overall disappointing and we will not return again

Enjoyed our 2 nights. Plenty of space for caravan, awning & car. Amenities are clean & there is lots of hot water due to artesian basin. Happy hour 4-6pm with entertainment. Close to town & shops.

Small caravan park, drive thru and reversed sites available, 2 minutes to CBD, staff are helpful and courteous, reasonable price, 2 amenities block which are kept clean, recommend this park.

OK, we've stayed at this caravan park four or five times before and always enjoyed the place. As an aside it's quite close to the swimming pools and spa. This time we were there before the tourist season and for most of our three day stay we were the only occupants so nice and quiet. Sites are level, some grassed, others concrete, some shaded, others not, so lots of options.The only real downside this time, which clearly is a product of the season/occupancy numbers, was that reception was only open for a couple of hours, which supported our decision to book ahead.We'll still be back when we are passing through.
