Lorne Station
We loved our stay at Lorne station. The room was basic but was clean and comfortable. The ammenities block was thoroughly cleaned daily and had hot showers with great pressure. The camp kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need and a bbq and pizza oven was also available for use. We were welcome to explore the entire property which was very interesting. One of the biggest draw cards of the whole place was the staff. Gerry, Sue and Kenny were so welcoming and friendly that by the time we left we felt like family. We will definitely be back.

Out of town a bit. Nice abd quiet. Basic showers and flushing toilets. Can have campfires there.

Campground 5km out of Lightning Ridge. Rustic area, some power water sites and many unpowered bush sites. Clean amenities and fire pits available . Managers are very friendly, camp fire get together on Friday nights. A change from expensive caravan parks.

The station is about 3km's out of lightning ridge, it offers powered and unpowered sites.The lady that greeted us was down to earth and lovely.The unpowered sites have 200 acres to choose from. We chose a site about 100 metres from the amenities, it was quiet and peaceful.Amenities block has toilets, hot showers, laundry.This is a bush camp area, it's only $20 per night. Please don't expect a fluffy grassy concrete slabbed city site!

It's great fun to find a caravan park that is close to town but which offers something a little more authentic than the corporate operators in town.The amenities here are fine with ongoing improvements been made.

The new owners are so lovely nothing is a bother,very clean amenities, camp kitchen also very clean, a laundry for $3 a wash one dollar coins come and pay them a visit while in lightening ridge cheap $20 a night for 2 power and water $30 awesome place

Thought I had taken a wrong turn and landed in Mexico. Paddocks revealed many cacti scattered through the open woodland paddock. An original look which I found pleasing to look at.

Great spot close to town, caretakers were friendly and helpful couldn't do enough for you reasonable price for power and water. Will stopover next time we're travelling through.

I'm the new manger we have only been hear six weeks we been cleaning cabins and buy new linen shower block has been painted we met lots of beautiful people still a lot to do hope people will come and visit us we are improving the park

Great prices, shower was hot, bathrooms were clean, kitchen was tidy and it was very dog friendly. There was a great rock pile at the front where we had found some opals. The people there was very friendly and the rooms were very nice. We would definitely come back here again since it was very good. You can't expect much but I definitely enjoyed this place.
