I've started ordering meat online since covid and this is better quality organic meat than the organic meat I used to buy from Coles and Woolworths. I also highly recommend the tamarind chicken drumettes too yummy! The souvlaki sticks both chicken and beef, and lamb sausages are also a winner. Sam is also super nice, great customer service.

I only went here because I was in a rush home and didn't have time to stop at my local supermarket. The chicken breast was $39.90 per kg which is absolutely ridiculous!! I ended up paying $20 for 1 chicken breast and when I opened it at home, it had a very strong off smell which was repulsive. I will never be returning - you can go to your local supermarket and buy 1 kg of free range chicken breast (which doesn't smell off) for a fraction of the price!!

This butcher is there from many years and I often go to buy chicken; the chicken breast cost 39,99$ a Kg, which is a bit expensive, but the price is explained by the quality of the organic chicken.I can always taste a big difference between this and the one you can buy from coles.

I have dealt with Sam twice now and have been thrilled with the excellent and speedy service. After trying Sam's Black and White Puddings, I can say that, in my opinion, they are the best that I have tried in the last 30 years. Delicious! I had never tried white pudding before, but now cannot stop myself from snacking on it!

I ordered an assortment of meats and have had them delivered to me in Melbourne. The price, quality of meats, the shipping time, the packaging, and selection offered is very satisfactory. After reading bad reviews on here yesterday I got worried (After i had ordered, if I read these reviews prior I would have dodged this butcher), but my order arrived today and I am happy. Alot of bad reviews are on customer service and anyone who has worked in customer service knows that some customers are just as*holes...probably all Karen's. I'm a happy customer, will order again. I love local butchers and want to love Sam The Butcher on Bondi Rd, but for the second time in a row I’ve bought fresh meat here that went off within a day in the fridge. Chucked out some lamb chops that made me violently ill, same happened to chicken thighs... now these pork sausages have grown mould all over and smells like death. There is serious hygiene issues here people. I won’t go back!!

Buy a large turkey every Christmas in July for a big get together. They are always excellent and delivered on time. This year there were some challenges getting the turkey in time for the courier but they personally delivered it on the evening of the day planned - awesome service.
