Michael Grogan Solicitor

Complete stranger became Executor AND solicitor to my parents will became he inherited the original when he took over his father's business. Since my father passed away only 4 weeks ago, I have had one call from Michael Grogan, who introduced himself then demanded the Death Certificate. Michael did not offer condolences for my father passing nor express any compassion. He is not a specialist in Probate. He said he will charge the estate a fixed fee up to application for probate but would not disclose that cost. He said thereafter he would charge an hourly rate, but would not disclose his hourly rate. He said he can change the will it happens all the time".I then got a call from my brother (we are the only 2 beneficiaries)

One of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. My dad passed away recently and I contacted Michael with a couple of questions about his will (as I had been asked to by the executor). Rather than speaking to me with kindness, empathy, or just plain politeness, Michael was hostile and seemed to go out of his way to not help me. I actually had to remind him that I was a person who had recently lost their parent and didn’t deserve to be spoken to in that way. Avoid this man at all costs.
