Garden of Eating BYO Restaurant
This restaurant is incredibly discriminatory against children. They clearly do not want children at their restaurant however don’t mention this at the time of the booking. My daughter who has autism was watching her IPad at the table not bothering anybody, when the owner came up and asked us to turn it down. We turned the iPad down to the point the person two chairs away was unable to hear. This was apparently not good enough, the owner then took it upon herself to bother other guest eating in the restaurant to ask them about the iPad and then approached us again. The other guest did not make a comment on my daughter, but the owner went out of her way to bother them about it. We explained to the owner that our daughter was autistic and is not able to tolerate headphones, to which she replied this was not her problem. They are completely unaccommodating and incredibly rude. They advised us that we should ask permission to bring our child’s iPad like we would ask permission to bring a cake. It’s the year 2023, most children come to dinner with iPads!!!!Would never recommend coming here in a million years.

Garden of Eating BYO Restaurant
What a lovely, cosy venue! Fantastic vegan options and a well-thought menu- I don't remember last time I enjoyed food so much! Blue cheesecake was out of this world. Compliments for the chef - you are rocking this kitchen! :) Will definitely come back next time we're in Townsville, thank you again for a wondaful evening!

Absolutely exquisite food you will be hard pressed to taste anywhere else. Such a beautiful dining garden with relaxed vibe you will lose track of the time. Adele and Wayne are incredible they make you feel just at home. Truly is little gem nestled in South Townsville.

Wonderful great service very friendly and food to die for. What is even better is not too expensive but has minimum $40 per person. Which means you can have 2 courses or 1 big main. If I was in Townsville not worth missing

Garden of Eating BYO Restaurant
This hidden gem is a wonderful place to come and eat. The garden in super cute, and has a wonderful atmosphere, the owners are very friendly and obviously love their job and the food is great. If you are after an enjoyable evening of good food in a peaceful place this is Highly recommended.

By coincidence, we found this lovely, hidden place and we loved the atmosphere, the food and the very welcoming and nice owners.The food was just delicious, made with love for each ingredient, used fantasy and not so common combinations, à la nouvelle cuisine, just perfect.This is the place to go in Townsville, when you looking for à tête a tête and a unforgettable evening/night

If you like weird food, expensive prices, small portions, rude arrogant waitresses, terrible elevator music, room temperature water, outdated decor and poor housekeeping then this is the place for you!God forbid if you try to have a good time in this place. Didn't even get a welcome, get told about the stuff on the menu or get any other options than room temperature tap water.Best thing about this place is the pub 2 doors down! Decent meals at half the price and twice the size with great hospitality and welcoming staff.

So many dairy free options!! Love it.Good food, super friendly owners, and the garden setting is just amazing. Very romantic. With little lights.Would add some music though, not too loud, but some relaxing background music

A small intimate restaurant that deserves all the awards it has one. The service excellent, the food phenomenal. BYO, Mains come in entree sizes perfect for people that do not eat too much ☺ A must experience gastronomical adventure.
