Sound Preservation Association of Tasmania
A fascinating collection of audio technology from days gone by, many items that have a particular Tasmanian connection. It is a small space, but filled to the roof (literally) with past audio technology, as well a small range of film recording equipment and televisions. It is a non-profit organisation, therefore a donation on entry is appreciated.

Amazing collection of Tasmanian and Australian made sound equipment and related items. Friendly staff, always willing to share their knowledge with enthousiasme. A must visit place for young and old.

I found this very interesting. Lot's of old school radio's, music & various nostalgic things of interest like old batteries & broadcsat sheets & an original 7HO desk console. Staff are friendly and are happy to have a chat. Well worth a look.
