One Solution Building Services

Very unprofessional and unresponsive. We like most had to use One Solution due to our insurance company using them. They have no communication or basic procedures in place. They are always confused when you ring them and always have to get back to you and never do. They first accepted our claim of mould in the room because they thought they could just put a room heater in at little cost and walk away. Then when a proper sub contractor came out and said the wall needed to be removed as it was wet. Funnily enough the claim was reassessed and a loophole was found to switch our claim to be rejected.

Our roof leaked, as a result we ended up with a hole and some mould in our ceiling. Through our insurance company our repairs were carried out by One Solution. From the beginning the communication was excellent, my questions were answered and the process was explained in a friendly informative manner. The quality of the work carried out on the ceiling is fantastic. I would definitely go through again and can't recommend One Solution enough.

Worst of the worst. Our kitchen flooded our house and 7 months on we are still waiting for repairs with gutted house. Only now After they passed it onto another mob they realise the whole place is filled with mould. Back to insurance for reassessment and more waiting. Worst communication ever, random people rocking up at random times and no coordination between them. It’s been a horrible experience.

Shocking experience with this company employed by our insurance company.It has caused so much stress to our family.Almost 2 and a half years and a garage and driveway are not completed. Some days they turn up but most days they don’t.If your insurance company use this company be sure to ask for another. Very poor communication, work ethic, unsure of what they are doing, unsafe practices and the list goes on. Very unhappy with their services.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THROUGH INSURANCE!!!!I had them come out through my insurance company. Even though I requested another company due to the reviews here.Insurance company ignored this simple request.The incompetence from this company is astounding and totally believe why my insurance company uses them, NO PAY OUT.It seems there are a few in my area who have gone through the same horror I have, including claiming 1 rusted screw on the bottom causing all the water leaks up the top, claiming my property is not up to legal compliance, shocked that their diagnosis does not match what’s really going on, claiming one thing that does not match the cause or their ideology, this is just a few of what’s gone on. The list is endless with them to NOT have my claim approved.I’ve had independent contractors who have been disgraced with what’s been said and written up.Demand this company is not used on your insurance assessment.

I cannot speak highly enough of One Solutions Building Services, they looked after us after we had a hail damage claim through NRMA. We were first looked after by Penny in Qld and then we were transferred to Garry at One Solutions Newcastle. Garry went out of his way to keep in touch with us , he was always so friendly and nice to talk to. We valued any advice he gave us and we are delighted with our lovely new roof. Thanks One Solutions and thanks NRMA.

Kyle contacted me to arrange a time for maintenance on my property which suited me best. Kyle demonstrated a courteous, polite, professional and at all times respectful manner whilst working in my home. I would certainly recommend this business to my friends and family as the service/repair on my property was done in a timely and efficient manner. My home insurance company used One Solution to carry out repairs to water-damaged laundry & bedroom.They removed the damaged materials OK, but after 2 months of waiting, they never showed up to complete the repair work. Whenever I called them, I was put on hold until the line dropped out, then they never returned my calls.I told my insurance company to dump them, and give me the money to organise my own contractors. I was able to get immediate action on repairs.

we called our insurance company and this builder came to our house and temp fixed our leaking roof. They then at a later date fixed the issue completely with no issues. The temp fix took a little while to get done, but during the floods this was normal from what i heard from friends with same issues.

We were flooded out in February, one solution Building Services were allocated to do the repairs work under insurance. Chris was the project manager and what an excellent job he done, we were very pleased with the outcome and I must give a big thank you to Chris for the effort you put in getting us back in our home before Christmas. it was a pleasure 2 work with a professional. John cannon
