Waverley Bowling Club
This thriving club is a favourite amongst barefoot bowlers, local families and serious bowlers. Lots of outdoor space and drinks are cheap, especially for members. Waverley bowling club recently won a battle for survival against Easts Leagues club who attempted to sell this community hub off to developers. The local were having none of it and successfully fought to save the club. Come along and and enjoy the vibe.

Great food and even better meat tray raffles!Good for outdoor dining or indoor. Always friendly staff. Couldn't have asked for a better local!

Went here for a kids first birthday party and we had an excellent time as we were outside with shade, good food catered by the venue, plenty of places for kids to run around plus benches and tables to sit at and keep things out of their way. The inside is pretty retro but it's a good solid place.

It's all about the company .... The venue is a bowling club ... The drinks are cheap if you are a member of East's footy club. We used to go there on a Friday night once a month to catch up with other parents as the club is Kid-friendly as they serve food... The food is generally pretty good but it went from quite cheap the quite expensive when they said it was closing down for Renovations.... It did not close down just the food got more expensive .It's quite a nice place really ...... But go with friends... If you drink .. Don't Drive.

It's a nice family oriented bowling place. Drinks are cheap(even cheaper for the members) and the bistro is fantastic. I'd recommend you to grab schnitzel parmigiana, It's delicious.

To be honest as a foreigner I don't really know what makes a great bowling club versus an okay one. However, in terms of standing in the sun on the grass, day drinking cold beer and throwing stones at other stones, this place delivered excellently! Staff and other customers were very friendly and welcoming to us first timers.

HUGE meals at a ridiculously fair price! Drinks are nice and cheap too and a great day on a Sunday... Not many bowls clubs around like this one anymore... They should, however, reintroduce the dogs allowed rule ;)

Classic Sydney lawn bowls club. Food is standard pub fare. Great during summer. Get some friends along and enjoy some beers in the sun.
