I went to the Japanese Mountain Retreat for a massage and lunch. I had an incredible experience. The masseuse is a real angel, discreet and attentive to every detail, she has hands of gold. Lunch was fabulous, the chef prepares everything with fresh ingredients and the pleasure transfers from the eyes to the palate. Highly recommended!

My Partner and I stayed overnight for our 2 Year Anniversary, and everything was more than amazing - we were really transported to a gorgeous little world for the little time we spent here.The attention to detail and care that was put into the accomodation made us feel like royalty, and everything was just right to make it a beautiful and romantic evening. Everything is complimentary" was all that was needed to be said to us when we arrived.It wasn't cheap but I will spare the expense at least one night every year to come back to this oasis in the mountains with my partner."

My partner paid $460 for a swim, massage and lunch for me for a Mother’s Day gift.When I called to book it in no one bothered to call me back both times(even though I spoke to 2 different people and they took my name and number) so I decided to email and I was responded to stating they could fit me in.On the way down (2 hour drive from our house) I had a gut feeling I should call to double check it was booked, only to find the lady who answered did not book me in and we had paid for accommodation elsewhere and organised a baby sitter for our children. Naturally I was sent into a panic, I did not even receive an apology for their error on the phone or whilst I was there.This was our first weekend away in 3 years after having kids and it really annoyed me considering my partner paid A LOT for it.For this reason I won’t be going back as there are plenty of other spa retreats who treat their customers a lot better than this.

My husband and I had a date night at the Japanese retreat. I was very impressed with the attention to details throughout our whole experience. The atmosphere was very relaxed, the massage was amazing relaxing. We were thrilled to have a private outdoor bath just for us two. The dining experience was also very good. We have enjoyed every meal that was served. I can’t say anything bad about our experience at the Japanese retreat. Our experience was perfect! Will definitely come again. Keep up the wonderful service.

We booked a 80 mins hot spring for three adults and one kid in a private bath; the bath was used by another couple prior so the bedsheet cover was a bit wet; other than that we enjoyed the hot spring and the relaxed family time.

Super great experience today. We purchased the 50min private bath+bento package. The bath is clean and warm, food was a bit salty but the service was good. Winnie the receptionist is kind and warm-hearted. Will recommend more friends to come here.

My wife and I were blown away with the level of professionalism and hospitality of this place. Everything felt first class and felt very spoiled. The massage was excellent, adjusted the pressure to suit. The interior design and gardens are next level. My wife and I didn't have to share space with other people and got to enjoy the quality time together. We were really appreciative of how accommodating they were to our circumstances given that we had a newborn and had to leave early to attend to her, and were so generous in allowing us to return and have the dinner part of our spa package at a later date. We recently enjoyed the meal and loved the ambience of the restaurant, and the staff were very attentive. Look forward to returning in the near future.

This was a great experience, the spa was beautiful, a romantic experience, secluded and private. The service was lovely and the food was amazing. You share the room with dinner with only a few other tables, so it's very intimate. Situated in a beautiful landscape. Worth a wander around the property as well if you are just visiting for the day :)

Went for the mineral hot springs, full body massage and dinner as well. The service was amazing from beginning to end. It was private and clean.The dining was brilliant. It was 6 course with a beautiful out look on the scenery. Was also my birthday and the waitress gifted flowers.All in all it was a very special experience! Recommend this place.
