SureStay Hotel by Best Western The Clarence on Melville
Lovely place to stay in Albany. The ladies at the reception (during check in and check out) were so compassionate and helpful. The room was neat and tidy and the room service was excellent. The location of the stay is in city centre so it was a 20-25 minute drive to all of the scenic places.We only had issues with the wifi range but that was definitely not worth taking a star away from the service we received! Keep up the good work guys and thank you for your excellent services.

Yeah this place is old and hasn't really changed decor in twenty years.The light fittings where dusty with webs and the room was damp though not wishing to complain, we savoured the hot water and fled after a night sleep in the carbay.

You are surely to have a sweet and wonderful stay here!Great vintage and super quiet rooms, with all you need. With a great view up the top area to overlook the city and excellent amenities and a restaurant on site, there is more than enough for a restful time.The very best is the absolutely amazing and caring staff. They went out of their way and above expectations to help us. I highly recommend SureStay

Check-in staff was very helpful. The place is not well maintained. The AC was very noisy (for, heating being, a cold night) and therefore we could not sleep well. The microwave we requested at booking was not given. Basic tea making equipment not up to standard for its price tag.

The receptionist was really great and gave us some very nice advices about where to go, rooms are clean, location is nice. Only the bathroom could be better, not enough pressure in the shower and sink not very convenient to use due to the faucet to close to it.

I arrived after 930pm and followed the instructions to get my key. I had a room at the back of the complex. It would have been quiet but I had to run the old style air con for heating and it was very loud. The decor is very dated, but the bed was comfortable and the room includes a microwave and fridge. The location is outside of the main town area.

Cannot fault the customer service and location of the motel, the room was fine for the price but is certainly getting outdated and worn, it was mostly clean but not perfect by any means.Good for a night or two.

Lovely 3 star hotel that lives up to all realistic expectations. Both staff members, at check in and check out respectively were unfailing polite but also very genuine, which made me leave the reception with a smile on my face.The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the TV modern and the complimentary tea and coffee was enough to get the heart started in the morning. The only thing I would suggest would be some wine glasses. Maybe my room just missed out but drinking a nice Mt Barker red out of a coffee cup reminded me of my university days.The bathroom was basic but spotless and the water pressure fantastic, which was just the thing after a 5 hour trip from Perth.It was a cold night but the a/c unit at the end of the room kept things warm and comfortable. Just remember the on/off switch is by the bed (for my room anyway) and I did the typical male thing of trying to fiddle with the unit rather than reading the sign next to it.I liked the SureStay Hotel. It is centrally located and delivers what it promises. I travel to Albany frequently for business and I will be back.
