Very happy with our furniture from Designer Timber Furniture. There were a couple of minor delays, but that's not unusual with made to order furniture.I agree with some of the other reviews that the photos on the website do not do the products justice. If you're looking for furniture it is definitely worth a visit to the store. The staff are very patient and helpful with designs and changes to furniture.We will definitely be visiting this store first when we buy any new furniture.

The moment you walk through the doors, all you can think of is, amazing!. There are so many beautiful pieces to look at, you simply don’t know where to start. So glad that we decided to walk through the doors of Designer Timber Furniture. Nearing the conclusion of building our home, we were looking for really beautiful, simple, yet stand out quality furniture. Honestly, we had trawled through so many furniture stores, walking away dissatisfied and disheartened each time by the quality of what we were trying to be sold. Matt loves and takes pride in the furniture he’s selling in this store - you can tell straight away. Knowledgeable about each timber, advising with sincerity and honesty, guiding us through each piece without being pushy or overbearing. We loved our Dining Furniture purchase so much that we continued through with island bench stools. We then spoke to Matt about creating a custom piece for our Entertainment Unit as we couldn’t find one in store that would fit the dimensions of our wall cavity. Matt, yet again helpful and dedicated in creating a piece that would compliment and create a beautiful aesthetic in our new home. Thanks Matt for helping us turn our house into a home. We cannot recommend Designer Timber Furniture enough. Exceptional furniture and outstanding service.

Being based In Sydney it was refreshing to discover this store as the offer exceptional Australian hardwood furniture, pricing and quality are unmatched and it was well worth the effort getting the products shipped to our home in Sydney.. We ordered a range of furniture from a custom dining table, TV unit, coffee table and a few bits an pieces…

ordered dining table and chairs. we were being told that they have all chairs IN STOCK and READY to be delivered. The table delivery was delayed from promised date. when we called to follow up, the staff was rude and said delay IS COMMON when buying furniture. when the table and chairs get delivered, they were SHORT couple chairs. when we called to follow up, they said they DON'T HAVE stock for the chairs! and have to wait for next month. the month after there was no news or whatsoever, when I chased them for the chairs, only being promised for next month delivery. 6 months have passed from we order and PAID and we are still missing couple chairs!

We bought this huge solid wood sideboard from Designer Timber Furniture and couldn't be happier with it. Their furniture is sturdy, well-made, stylish, and is made from beautiful natural materials. The prices are really reasonable, especially for handmade solid wooden furniture like this.

Unfortunately a very unpleasant experience. We were told 8-10 weeks for our bathroom vanity unit to be completed but it took 5.5 mths. I understand there are delays across the board at the moment due to shortage of staff etc, but it was the lack of communication to advise of the constant delays which was frustrating, not to mention being told I was being 'over dramatic' by Matt when asking will we ever receive our product...As for notification to advise of the numerous delays - apart from the one email received which i had appreciated, every other time it was me having to follow up for a status update, only to be told of the 'revised' ETA (due to a range of reasons).As for collection, my husband chose to collect it direct from the manufacturer in Tullamarine when told it was finally ready, instead of collecting it from the Preston store.. We just didnt trust anything we were told by Matt and we didn't want to risk there being 'yet another delay', and impacting the tradies which we had lined up for the 5th time.As for the product itself, the bottom drawer isn't completely flush against the base when closed (refer to pic) plus the front panel isn't what I had asked for. I wanted the natural grain of wood going horizontally across the 2 drawers as seen in a similar product at the showroom but instead we received a half circle (refer to pic).

This has to Melbournes best quality and cheapest prices by far. The owner is a true gentleman and provides amazing service. Couldn't be happier. Bravo
