Alvaro is my personal trainer for the last 2 years. I came to him initially for a deep tissue massage due to chronic back pain. After few months of training, I was almost totally relieved of it. Alvaro is not your standard PT, he has a deep knowledge of human body, muscles' group and is able to help you identifying and working on the root of the problems. Alvaro has a full set of skills across disciplines which is very valuable. I highly recommend Alvaro.

Alvaro helped me out of a really bad and desperate situation with a overworked shoulder. His abilities to use his multiple skills are holistic and absolutely professional. Also been so lucky about all the empathetic advice he gave me . I work in a physical job and train regularly so get knots and pulled muscles along the way. I’ve seen a few physios and can say hands down Alvaro has been the best. I’ve only ever needed one session to fix the problems I’ve had. He talks you through the problems shows you in 3D details of the muscles, how he’ll fix it and how to recover the following weeks. Couldn’t recommend him more if you want the problems fix properly.

I did a couple of sessions with Alvaro for neck/trap and shoulder pain stiffness. He is very knowledgeable, caring and thorough in his assessment, and detailed in helping you to understand the cause of your issues. I had a combination of soft tissue work, dry needling and alignment which helped instantly. Alvaro also gave me plenty of exercises and stretches to do at home to help alleviate the problem in the long term which are already paying off. Can’t recommend him enough!. I never fail to leave Ultimate Therapy feeling like a new man!

This was the best massage, advise and aftercare, I have ever had!Alvaro was extremely professional and very thorough with the consultation before, even starting my treatment.I also had some dry needling done, I was a little nervous, as I hadn’t had it done before.Alvaro explained each step to me as he went through my treatment, making me feel at ease.Also I got set some exercises to do at home to help continue with my recovery and strengthen my muscles.Thank for your help, patience and advise. I will definitely be back for some more dry needling too. I feel like a new woman!

Alvaro always knows how to help. I have a condition called ankylosing spondylitis. All my joints, connective tissues, fascia... all of that is always very stiff, inflame, and painful. But after every session with Alvaro, I walk out like a new person :) Highly recommend to anyone who needs professional help with dry needling and proper sports massage.

One of the best in Sydney. I have had chronic ITB and knee problems for a while. Alvaro Mejia is very knowledgeable and an excellent therapist. Dry needling improved my symptoms and allowed me to complete my goal of running an ultra marathon
