i have been at this restaurant many times and loved it, but this time i had come in and purchased an ice cream dropped part of my ice cream cone and i got a small chunk of ice cream in a cup for the ice cream i dropped and was told by the man who gave me my ice cream that the ice cream in the cup would be “free of charge”. however, the lady who told me my price and charged me charged me for not only the cons, but the cup aswell which was meant to be free of charge. then when i payed for extra ice cream that i didn’t even want i didn’t even get offered a spoon and was expected to eat the ice cream out the cup like a dog. do your job.

Went to cafe for lunch today sat down after ordering within 5 mins after ordering our meals were brought to us, which i thought strange that it took minimal time to be prepared cooked and served to us.. Now let’s keep in mind that we order Seafood and how dangerous seafood can be if not cooked correctly. The first thing I noticed was the outer layers of my food was dark and somewhat burnt or over cook, but then when I cut my scallop in half i noticed it wasnt cooked and the inside was still jelly texture. I returned my plate and was offered another meal, great thankyou they then Brought the second plate and although the scallops were cooked the out side of the rest of the seafood pieces were burnt. I was totally devastated as i had been looking forward to this meal since September 2022 when I visited this cafe last time and was so happy for the meal I had eaten. But. I am done it cost me $40+ today and i could not eat most of eat …. I will not be going back as there are pleanty of other dinning area’s to go, i am just upset , they offered a complementary cake which i thought was hilariously rude I didn’t like the food why would I want a single 4 dollar cake :( The other thing when I asked if the fish was flake I was told yes but it was butter fish?

Fantastic food, seriously good and without a doubt the place to go in Goolwa for takeaway + a dine in option.Pretty reasonably pricedI can recommend the pizzas, burgers & AB yiros pack

We went to Saltwater for breakfast.. safe to say we were extremely impressed with the service and the food we recieved. Wendy was very welcoming and made the experience at Saltwater one to remember. So much that we can back for the next 3 days. The food was amazing. Will definitely be visiting again before we leave and we will be back next time we are across.Thank you Wendy for making our experience at Saltwater well worth it. Great customer service and great food.

Got really bad food poisoning and they wouldn't let me pick up a pizza at 730 was talking to a lady her boss took the phone and said we are closed. Better off finding a place that cares about there customers not closing early.

Had great of fish and chips, nice chips, fish not overdone, good extras of tartare & lemon included. Also Greek salad on the side made a good meal one night while I was working done at Goolwa. Prompt service and typical shop atmosphere. Recommended.

We went here for a family dinner (kids ages 7 and 8) and thought it was nice. We ate in, the place was simple and it was great the eat in area was away from the main ordering area for takeaway.The kids and I had a pizza and Lamb Yiros Combo. The pizza was delicious it came hot out of the oven which was the best.I was disappointment with the Lamb Yiros Combo and would not recommend it. My understanding of the dish was it was going to be only meat however it came with chips and salad. There was not much meat. I do not believe it is good value.My husband had the steak sandwich with extra steak which he enjoyed.

I don't know whether we got them on a bad day, but the food was poor. My fish appeared to be reheated. Batter was hard and the fish had little flavour. Salad were mediocre.I wouldn't go again.Only given a 2 because it was a nice day.

A very very popular place. Seating available indoor and outdoor. Having fish and chips as well as pizza to choose from was perfect as we wanted both this evening as we arrived in Goolwa. Service was fast and efficient. There's also ice cream and sweets/desserts to choose from. Nice view from inside. Definitive a place to return to. Oh and the tartar sauce was superb! Perfect complement for the crispy fish and best chips. High chair available for tiny tots.
