Diggies Kiama
Diggies is located near the Kiama lighthouse with the sweeping views of Kiama beach. Because of the location, everyone is queuing to get a table. Little did anyone know, you can actually make a reservation. Without reservation the waiting time is approximately 1 hour + another 20-50 minutes for drinks & food to be served. There’s plenty of tables both inside and outside, but it gets filled pretty quickly by locals & tourist.Diggies has great views and food, but appalling service. For improvement, there should be more staff members in the kitchen to speed up the food and more staff making drinks. Still with the long wait times, customers are willing to sacrifice their time to eat at Diggies.

I loved their food, but I didn't like their service at all. They were mostly busy talking to themselves, and if you asked anything, they would just pretend that they're busy with some other customers . A girl just told me that Wait for a moment

Great food, great drinks and really accommodating and lovely staff. We asked for an outside table and once it started to rain they moved us inside with no trouble at all. Highly reccomend. The salmon croquettes and mushroom omelette were so good.

My favourite cafe in Kiama! We come here every time we go to Kiama - the service, food and location are amazing!The staff are quick, friendly and helpful.The food is seasonal so it’s always changing - it’s delicious!The location/atmosphere are great! Great spot for lunch or an afternoon drink on the weekend with live music.Love it! Thanks guys :)

They fit in our large group which was a good start. We were very thankful but the food took about 40 minutes to come out. We had 5 small children with us and it was difficult to keep them still during this time. When the food arrived I was not impressed. I ordered the omelette and it was over cooked, slightly burnt, egg was very dry and mushrooms pretty much raw. My wife ordered the sausage Mcdiggy and the meat was not cooked. Service very average. Overpriced. I will not go back.

We ordered fish and steak both were burnt. We had backpacks and jacket, the restaurant was not busy, I took an empty chair to put our stuffs and told to the guy the reason. The waiter took it from me and said you cannot have another chair and did not offer alternative. I looked around and all other customers had extra chair next to them. I asked lady and she gave us a stool to put our stuffs on top it.Poor quality and poor customer service.

We are happy with the general services and the food quality of the restaurant other than there is a bit more pricy then we expected. The drink I order was tasty. It is great location just next to the tourist center and blowhole.

With the only Cafe close to the blowhole, I anticipated overpriced, poor quality and ordinary service. Instead, had an excellent experience worthy of review. Seated and served quickly, the team were attentive without being overbearing. They looked after the kids with colouring pencils giving the wife and I the opportunity to enjoy our meals. I highly recommend the fish tacos. At $15 you can't go wrong.

Diggies Kiama
We attended a wedding reception here on the 18th March and this venue were outstanding in looking after us all and accommodating such a roudy crowd. The food was delicious and fresh and given it was canapes being brought around to us there was a nice variety and was always fresh and tasty. The barstaff were extremely helpful and service was amazing. Highly recommend this location for a function with such great surroundings as well.
