Rude and unhelpful staff, from the entrance onwards.At the gate the charge for my load, which was in a van, was based on the size of the van not the fact that it was 25% full.Whilst unloading at one the bins we were sarcastically berated by one of the staff because some of the refuse wasn't 100% the material that was designated for that bin. Despite my repeated apology the sarcasm continued for way beyond any acceptable limit.No help was offered at any of the other specific material" stations either.From my experience

Absolute theives, took my small truck down and was ridiculed as to whether it was under gvm4500 which has never happened even had to show compliance plate(btw council truck over gvm ok). No logic is applied when items are loosely packed (I'm not going to cut up green waste into small pieces just to pay the true volume). Overcharged for concrete disposal which should be free seeing as it gets recycled and sold back(supposedly) not setting a great example for recycling to be honest merely just a money making scheme. Will continue to avoid this place as everytime I go it's hit or miss how you get charged.

Worth checking out the shop, especially outside for some things that might be handy. Prices are generally ok and you're supporting a good cause.

The two women working" at the tip today need a few lessons in customer service.They are certainly not very professional and need to treat customers with a little courtesy.It may be the tip but we don't have to be treated like we live there."

Just a few times a year I go to drop off old oil, green waste or recyclable goods. Always professional and friendly. We get 3Tip vouchers with the rates.

Took a load of cardboard to the Tip. They have dedicated skips for recycling. There's no charge for cardboard.

Staff very cooperative and happy to assist.I visited for the first time recently and found them to be much easier to deal with than the privatised alternatives.Well laid out and easy to sort different waste types into the proper categories.

What a great facility. Very efficient. We went on a public holiday and seems everyone had the same idea! On approach the queue was long, but we moved along quite quickly. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
