Extremely dissapointing this place has been the same for years charging astronomical prices for things people have thrown away. To see a lovely older woman today pick up some very old plastic wall pots that you would think would cost only a couple of dollars in the condition they were in cost her ten dollars. How disgusting to look down on someone who was obviously definitely not expecting them to be that much. She asked politely if the price could be reduced only to be shot down and told there was no way they could be any cheaper because she was already taking a loss!!! A LOSS THIS IS AN ITEM THROWN AWAY!! Will never bother attending there again.

Worst tip shop on the coast. Volunteers and workers are friendly and helpful but the pricing from management is far from on point (for tip shop standards). Many over priced items sit there for months until they’re dead. Just making work for themselves!

Went to look for gardening tools, found a wheelbarrow with holes in it and selected a few old gardening tools from a bin as well as 2 pieces of lattice and a small shabby table and chair. The woman from the shop came out and firstly suggested we'd taken a rake belonging to another woman who was cleaning the yard. She then said the total of all the items would be $50 which I thought a bit steep. My friend asked how much the rake was and she said it was $10!!!! I can get a new one for that. I put the rake back and told the guy at the front counter our items were $40. As we were putting them in our ute the woman came out and chastised us like we were naughty 4 year olds saying we shouldn't have changed the price she'd told us. I said we'd put the rake back and taken off $10. She then looked under the items in our ute on the pretence of checking they were loaded safely ( which they are not legally allowed to do). I believe she was looking to see if we'd hidden the rake underneath. Very rude (only the blonde woman), all the others were helpful and friendly, and way overpriced for a tip shop. Never going there again

Always happy with friendly and diligent and reasonable staff / volunteers. Often find preloved items - and I find so much easier to decide what I really could do with - even if it needs a bit of attention or repair.

Went in there today and saw a gas burner laying in pieces on the ground. I put it all back together took it to the counter to enquire about the price. $50. I could not believe it. Moments ago it was literally laying in pieces on the ground. For a tip shop the prices are ridiculous. Staff are rude and unhelpful. Never going back there

There’s a few lovely staff who always try to be kind and help. But the manager tries to squeeze every dollar out of things that would most likely sit there as rubbish forever.Compared to other tip shops prices are twice as much.
