Blue Gum Reserve Frisbee Golf Course
Nice little surprise not far from Cowes, plenty of parking and it wasn't busy at all, even on a weekend. The disc golf is free, obviously, but BYO discs also fairly obvious. It's also a dog park so be aware there might be a few 4 legged streakers that occasionally eye off one of your discs for fetch.

Blue Gum Reserve Frisbee Golf Course
The Google maps pin is a bit misleading, it'll take you to hole 9. Keep driving past that location and onto a smaller road where you can then turn right into the carpark where you can park by hole 1.Nine short holes but it's pretty fun. Good for beginners, none of the holes are challenging. It was a bit boggy for us after some rain, so prepare to get muddy shoes if you have similar conditions.

Blue Gum Reserve Frisbee Golf Course
It's a pretty pathetic attempt at a frisbee golf course to be honest. If you're not careful you'll lose your frisbee over the fence of the transfer station or in a neighbouring property. Nothing other than mowing ever gets done here. It's just a wide open field of grass. Fine for dogs I guess but pretty boring. It's also prone to flooding or being boggy. Mozzie haven!!

My two dogs and I love Blue Gum reserve. Unlike a lot of people who huddle together while their dogs rum around, we walk the perimeter and go exploring..Blue Gum park in Cowes has some gorgeous gum trees - including of course, blue gums. It has lots of bird life with many nesting in the trees. Today we sat on the lush grass in the shade and the dogs rolled & nibbled sweet grass stalks.
