cute little vintage book store that I didn't know existed. Very expensive thoughEDITED 02/03/2023If you want people to leave their bags at the front,maybe invest in some camera or put it behind the counter with you. My Friend got his bag stolen yesterday. UnimpressedEDIT EDIT...Family business, maybe don't sigh so loudly when someone asks for help and you didn't have what the wanted. A Business like this has to survive on customer service and the mother has to work on this

I've never posted a review before, but the way my family and I were treated in this store was so horrible that I feel compelled to do so. On holiday in Adelaide, we promised our children we would buy each of them a book to read. My wife and I being English teachers also had some books on our wishlist. About 10 seconds after entering the store, the store assistant quickly came over unprovoked to tell my wife that they had expensive books and if my children ruined any we'd be liable to pay; he then took a book off our 5 year old, who had been happily reading it sitting on the floor. His automatic assumption that our children would cause problems is something we have never experienced before. We left the store within minutes and will not be back. We have never felt more uncomfortable in a store in our lives.
