Of all the places you expect might be open for a burger or bacon and egg roll, this is the most unlikely and yet, here I am! And totally against the grain because everything else between Lithgow and Cowra via the low road is shut. Including Blayney. Your plain hamburger has a price of $9.00 but is LOADED and will keep you fed all the way back to Sydney or Goulburn whichever route you take. A mate of mine reckons this place has the best burgers EVA which might be debate-able, but they ain’t bad and if the thought of Maccas at Bathurst seems too familiar and unappetising, the Mandurama PO might help you break that vicious cycle. The PO is positioned perfectly for an early through to mid morning bacon and egg roll and consumed at the tables outside in the shade before the sun comes over the top. If riding via Newbridge, you can continue south to Neville and then onto Mandurama road and bypass Blayney altogether because there is also a 24 hour fuel stop at the rural supply outlet opposite the Police station in Mandurama as well.

Nice place to stop!

Great hub for the town, exchanging pleasantries while collecting and sending mail, banking or buying forgotten groceries, a newspaper or magazine but the cafe component is also very good. The food, especially the hamburgers are as good as any we've had for many a distance all around and the pies are good, too. We often eat there or get takeaway and sit in Memorial Park. When you are inside look up and admire the ceiling height and the window mechanisms.
