We came at a busy time but we were still greeted and our order was taken. We got a variety of pasties, they were absolutely delicious. The coffee was amazing! Hands down one of the best coffees I have had in a while!

What a great coffee!!!Cheaper too because of their early bird discount.Wish I had more time to sit and enjoy one of the delicious looking tarts or pastries.Wonderful dine in section to sit with good company and conversation or going solo and catching up on emails.Lovely space. Friendly staff. Great service.

I love French pastries and popped into @TheLittleFrenchCafe in Broadmeadow. Stepped inside with many people waiting for a coffee on this very chilly morning. Decided on the following:- Passionfruit cruffin: delicious creme patisserie with the freshness of the passionfruit shining through this lovely creation- Portuguese egg tart: the most unctious creamy vanilla custard encased by delicious flaky pastry. Very enjoyable.- Blueberry Danish: layer up on layer of flaky pastry holding a delicious blueberry filling. Popped in during the morning to get some morning tea to takeaway. An older woman (I assume to be the owner/manager) was arguing with someone over the phone in full earshot of the customers. Ok, everyone has a bad day, so I won’t hold that against them.I ordered two pastries, and they were, I really don’t like to admit, very average. I really hate to say that as I’ve been dying to visit this place for a long time.They were dry and a little stale and just not what I was expecting. I ordered a danish and a cronut. The cronut was very, very dry although the filling was great. The danish filling (cheese and bacon) was scant and cheap tasting. The pastry was on the dry side too.There are some brilliant bakeries around town I was hoping this would be another. This visit really disappointed.I might go back again as it could have just been an off day.**Update: So after the owners response I’ve decided to edit this. After reading the responses to feedback here, it’s clear she has an attitude problem and can’t just accept an honest review. Oh and I’m so sorry, cronut/cruffin/whatever. You knew what I was talking about.I actually don’t care about your corporate customers, are you serious? Is your ego seriously that fragile that you can’t accept a review?This owner will be the downfall of her business eventually. Grow up. And maybe stop eating your own products?
