Hand Car Wash

This was the first time I used star car wash at Altona Gate Shopping centre. I pre-booked a polish & clean online and you get a 10% discount if you are a RACV member. My car was definitely in need of some TLC. So I dropped off as planned and went off to get some shopping done. Within 1 hr I received an SMS that the vehicle was ready.I have to say that when I returned to pick up my car it looked awesome it was like a brand new car, everything cleaned to perfection. All windows inside were cleaned very well, the front windscreen was crystal clean (unlike many other car wash companies that I have used that have left the windscreen a smudgyness from the inside - not cleaned inside with a dry cloth). I was super impressed with the polish & clean. I will definitely go back here and highly recommend them based on my experience on this occassion.

I get my car was dirty, However, considering i work long hours and leave home at 3am; what do you expect? The guy told me my car was really dirty and smelly, and I chose the wrong package, to clean my car. How did I know, $85 wasn't enough to clean it? I'm sure there has been much worse. How much more was i having to pay?Watch some YouTube videos of dirty cars; some people have takeaway and mice coming out of their cars.

If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible service. Doesn't even try to do a good job on the interior. It was no cleaner than when I dropped it off. Avoid.

Came back in 1.5 hrs like asked. Still not completed, came back in another 30 mins terrible job of interior wasn’t even wiped Down windows not done

I called prior to make inquiry I found the man on the phone helpful, so took my car in next morning- happened to be a Saturday morning. I needed my car interior steam cleaned so was not in a hurry to collect it so was happy to receive a text when it was done to collect so I did not have to wait around. The car was gleaming from a distance when I picked it up and I was very happy with the interior finishes as well also clean and glossy. Melbourne has been raining since I collected he car which now is 4 days and car is still shiny. Professional car cleans are an investment in your car that goes through so much and its physically demanding task to clean cars I think car cleaners get every dollar they earn so I am happy to pay for this service. Surprised by negative reviews, that was not my experience.

Hi.. I had done my car wash from star car wash Altona last week…it was amazing service.. my car looks like brand new after service.. I use my car very rough with little kids …so it’s always messy but after service i couldn’t find a pinch of dirt anywhere.. so shiny nd clean.. thanks so much for giving such a good service.. highly recommended..

Really unimpressed - I booked online so thought I'd have a quick turnaround but took over 2.5 hours. I use my car for a dog walking business so it needed a good clean and was happy to pay extra - which I did. I've done a better job at a self serve car wash in half an hour. There was still obvious sand that could have been vacuumed in seconds and smears all over the exterior.Edit - yes these are after pictures

The total price was $75 and I gave him $80 to clean and shine a bit better. When I went to pick my car up I noticed at least two places that were NOT cleaned. I told to the owner about those places and he start washing them in from of me without saying anything. I open the driver’s door and saw quite a dirty spot, I asked him to handle me a cloth so I can clean it myself. He start cleaning it without saying any words, not that he didn’t apologised about his poorly service, but he even got upset. After I arrived home I started to see several other places that they missed.Extremely unprofessional and lower quality service. I will never go again at this place and DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

So went here on a fairly quiet day. Was a rainy day so asked if I could just get the inside of my car done since there was no point in cleaning the outside of the car, wanted steam clean with just the interior cleaned. Was quoted from $250 for just the inside which was surprising since I got both inside and outside of my car done last time for $120…
