The lookout sees all the way to Moreton Island easily, and a quick walk down either of the sturdy staircases gives you a great answer to the question: Why did they name it Redcliffe?" Go there during higher tide (ideally when the tide is just below 2m) for the best views / photos. That's when the ocean is receded enough to walk along the pretty sand below

The beach below Bill Marsh Lookout is a step away from the everyday. You could be miles from anywhere. Interesting at low tide with rock pools and interesting rock formations. If you decide to visit, wear sturdy shoes.
