Simply stunning views and beautiful rustic step back in time cottage

Wattle Cottage is a quaint, beautiful cottage just near Lithgow, NSW. It is one of the few properties which actually welcomes people with dogs and Fiona even goes as far as providing bowls, bedding and a fully fenced yard. There is even a doggie door for little pooches to come and go as they please. The view from the yard is breathtaking - the Blue Mountains by day and an incredible starry sky at night and Fiona and her husband kindly allow guests to feel free to roam the 200 acres of their property and there are some lovely walks with only the sounds of birds and wind through the gum trees. We were greeted with a plate of home made chocolate slice which was a lovely touch. Although it is close to Lithgow and restaurants and cafes, the cottage is just so peaceful I personally didn't leave it so I could enjoy every minute of the quiet bush surrounds. There is a log fire for winter warmth or air conditioning if you don't want to light the fire. Next door to the property is a pine forest which also has some lovely walking trails. Will definitely stay there again!

A most relaxing escape from city life. Quirky, comfortable, historical slice of NSW. Mountain & valley views to die for. Private setting with so many extras thrown in. Add the fenced yard for your fur babies & what more can you ask. Not our first visit & now going to be a yearly escape. Highly recommend this experience.
