I recently moved my business accounts to TaxArana and couldn't be happier! I wish I had made the move years ago. Great service, Friendly staff and accurate advice (most importantly). They put me onto Sage Accounts and I have picked it up quickly and it is streamlining my quote and invoice process and best of all I am getting paid on time! I can't recommend Steve and his team enough.

TaxArana didn't do my tax return. A straight forward single man's tax return was quoted for $192. This is extremely expensive and I went to Q tax Taigum who completed the tax return for $108. If you want to be ripped off go to TaxArana.

I've worked with a number of accountants over the years, both personally and in my business, and Tax Arana are the best I've found. Steve and the team care about their clients and have been very supportive in helping me to understand tax and its implications for my business. I highly recommend Tax Arana to anyone looking for good old fashioned customer service and financial expertise.

These guys are the most expensive tax agents in all of Brisbane and possibly all of QLD.They made fundamental errors on my tax return and lodged a return of mine without my authorisation causing me to get a tax bill with the ATO that they started hounding me about.I would never trust them with my personal finances again.I can supply anyone with copies of correspondence by email and phone to prove the above. Do yourself a favour and stay well clear of these guys

Our Tax Consultant Sheridan has done our tax two years in a row now. We moved down from Townsville as a Defence family. She is extremely knowledgable of all the ins and outs Defence related, teaching related and all things tax related. She is super friendly and professional. We own two properties and several shares so our tax returns can be quite complicated. The cost of completing our tax with her is always claimed the following year so the cost is of no concern for us. In fact it is comparable to other excellent consultants - you get what you pay for - and we get excellence from Sheridan at Tax Arana. Highly recommend her.

We are more than happy with TaxArana’s services! Very helpful, they call when they say they will, and they are up to date with all the constant changes to tax regulations. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to reclaim their life and get someone else to do their business and personal tax!

Really really quite disappointed. TaxArana have been around for decades so I thought I'd give them a try as I needed someone professional who knows their stuff. Well the accountant I got was all over the shop. She was lovely but it was ridiculous. She had to keep going and asking other accountants about everything. Kept apologising the whole time and making excuses about a new program on the laptop. Kept trying to finalise everything without asking me if there's anymore or first asking me what am I am going to claim before beginning the process. Im lucky I took in notes because she missed a lot of things like claiming for my last years tax invoice and I have a rental so she wasn't even going to ask me what was included in the rent or claim all of the bills. I had to keep asking her if I can claim this and that and these bills are included in the rent and then she'll then go back and recalculate it. Then she kept rushing because she had to leave for a school pickup. This is my first time with a rental and she barely helped me or gave me advice about it all. Didnt explain anything to me. Didnt explain how much I could claim and from what date I could claim it. Nothing. Didnt even tell me how much I earned for the year or how much I get back to have to pay. Didnt ask me if there was any travel in my job or what she is claiming when I worked from home. Nothing. Absolutely nothing was explained. She just told me that at first I wouldve had to pay back a big amount but now its almost half. That was it. It was just very unprofessional. Think next year I'll be better doing it myself. Very unprofessional and really disappointing. Really very disappointing.I had another accountant ring me up few days later. Clearly they didnt trust the accountant I had initially. And then they did it all again without me there so I dont know what they've done. And I didnt even look over it or resing the second lot. They lodged it all without me.That is ridiculous
