Mount Louisa Bush Walking Track

Well maintained, signposted and easy to follow track. Medium level of fitness required as lots of steps.Take water with you, tap to fill bottle at bottom but nothing on the track itself.Wonderfully views from every level of the track, designated rest spots with seating along the way.

This is a fantastic track when it's maintained by the council. Car parks are front in only, do not park anywhere other than in the designated car park or good chance you'll be fined.

It is a comfortable walk going to the left at the stairs out more challenging if you turn right and go up the first flight of stairs. You will know when you see what I am referring to turning right. Good round trip and well worth the 7000 steps. Gets the heart racing and burn those calories. For a lookout it is also an easy walk up and back down to the left, easy for children at a slower pace if you must. The views of Townsville both sides are wonderful and a must see. Shame about the land clearing which is very evident. Cheers big ears

Huge steps to climb but a well maintained path/trackI think the steps were made for a giant.Was a good challenge.

Absolutely beautiful up here, walk at your own pace the stairs can get a bit hard but take it slow take your time and you can do it. There's always other people around you don't feel totally isolated

Great track with even surface and steps. There are sign posts every 100m telling you how far you have come, & how far to go to the summit, And several interesting information signs along the way. Several seats along the way, especially near the top. Good views both east and west. If looking east towards Townsville and the coast may get better views in afternoon. Take water with you if needed. Dog poo bags and bins at base, which makes for a clean track.

Lovely walk! Definitely a lung burner but you get incredible views of Townsville and the surrounding areas.

Nice walk with lots of steps and views. The stairs are stone and broad and even when wet, not too slippery. Easy to follow directions and signals. Lots of people take their dogs. Lovely that this is accessible to Townsvillains.
