Wow had a steak night special! $20 for a superb porterhouse & vegetables & local potatoes wedges. Absolutely amazing meal! Best I've had in years and would cost $45 at best. Well done Farmers Arms impressive. Service and decor great. No I'm a visitor not a friend or relative.

Lovely meal - had the seafood spaghetti and chips. Also experienced local wines. The house Moscato was so nice. Great pub atmosphere and excellent service. Music playing in front bar added to the great vibe. A must visit while in Creswick.

Expectations were high from the way friends talked this place up; Maybe too high? I booked for a birthday lunch. Upon entry I felt let down as lighting was quiet dingy and the main bar area smelt like there was an old water leak and the carpet was mouldy. The two staff that were on were lovely, albeit one was clearly learning the ropes, placing pressure on the one supervising staff member. The dining room is in desperate need of a remodel to keep place with the establishments reputation. The meals came out in a reasonable time frame, a decent serving size and everyone was happy with the flavours and how everything was cooked and presented. Kudos to the kitchen brigade. The table took longer than expected to be cleared and although asking a few times, the birthday cake never made it to the table. We ended up taking it away with us. All in all, happy with the meals, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Popped in here for lunch and I was very impressed. The staff were warm and friendly as soon as I walked in. Set in a beautiful town this country pub has a lovely garden and the food is gorgeous. I had the zucchini flower salad to start and the sticky pork Asian salad for main. The food was cooked to perfection, especially the pork and I left with a big smile on my face. I will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone lucky enough to be in the area.

Wow!The Farmers Arms is an award winner and it's not difficult to see why.We dined here late last year for an evening meal.The calamari was by far the BEST we have ever had - anywhere in the world. The other courses were also terrific.There are plenty of drink offerings and the tap beer selection (including a number of local beers) is also very good.A special shout out to Holly. She was immediately friendly and welcoming. Holly was also very knowledgeable, efficient and an absolute pleasure to meet.When next in town, we will return!Thanks again Farmers Arms. Keep up the amazing standard! :-)

Grouse joint in the country area of Melbourne Victoria Australia in Creswick and the dish here is a special i got today and known as the Legendary Spaghetti And Meatballs yep and anyone who loves Italian Food well this is a good treat plus it will fill in the most hungry people and i do believe their Garlic Bread is lovely and before ordering i would strongly recommend people who have allergies to make sure they know what they can have and they are not sure simply ask to make sure and once your happy well your laughing really.

Went on $20 steak night. Bought a kids pizza ($10) that ended up being garlic bread with sauce and ham, costing $16 instead. Steaks were great but had to pay extra for our sauces and another $4 for mash instead of chips.Service was slow and we had a missing drink but the team were trying their best (especially with new staff). The best part was the cute greyhound in a red tie that got out from back of house and came to say hello. 10/10 for Frankie.

We had a large group (20) pre-booked for dinner last weekend and found the venue to be very short staffed. There were many other bookings and a football game planned for the weekend meaning additional staff should have been put on for the night. My first drink took 21 minutes to order, at the bar. My second, ordered at the table, never arrived. Dinner took over an hour to be served from time of ordering. I understand everyone is struggling for staff, but here’s an idea, don’t allow the place to be booked out if you can’t cope, all it does it make people not want to return. Considering the city prices charged here, you really need to do better. Train your staff to interact with people and make eye contact. Not look at the floor. And don’t allow others to faff about doing unnecessary odds and ends when queues are three deep at the bar. I wasn’t the only one making such observations. Poor form.
