Very excited to dine here so stared with the Jalapeno papers, very bland filling and oilly batter casing. Onto the Pork belly enchilada, pork was nice but very dull on flavour, drowned in cheese and quite small for the $28 price tag. Now for the drunken prawns fajitas, not sure if the chef or staff has tasted this dish as it's like a burnt Mongolian black bean, it's a waste of good prawns (if they were to start) and not a flavour associated with Mexican. Wont be coming back.

Was a great experience, some food got a little lost in translation temporarily, but was totally understandable as we had 9 separate orders come from the same table. This did not effect the food and the service we got one bit. Will definitely be coming back.

The service was good but the food was not. I asked for the vegan option taco and it came with no sauce at all. The beef ones my friend got came with way too much sauce it was drowning and just made the whole thing taste of eggy mayo even after the excess was scraped off. Also the cokes were postmix and tasted of pure soda water.Super underwhelming, won’t be returning here.Go to California Native in Coorparoo instead and give this one a hard pass.

Great choice if you want to try some Mexican on the heart of Hawthorne. Good spot, good ambience with best service from the staffs. Highly recommended. Try the truffle chicken quesadilla, to die for. A bit pricey but worth your money.

Went here for taco Tuesday $25 all you can eat taco’s and we still managed to spend $170 between 2 of us because the margaritas were bloody good and we couldn’t stop at just 1. Seriously though it’s really hard to find a decent margarita these days but this place here does a ripper. The tacos were pretty good except the pulled pork ones were really, really wet and sloppy and just made a mess everywhere. Will be back for another crack at some other things for sure.

Came here on recommendation from friends and was sorely disappointed. Food was nothing special for the price. We asked about specific dietary restrictions, waiter said they would ask the kitchen and we had to flag someone down for follow up as they never came back. Nachos were quite good but unfortunately staff forgot a main meal item (chicken enchilada) and when we asked about it said it would 8 minutes. In fact took about 25 minutes. When it finally came out the table had already finished eating. Was not worth $26 as was basically tortilla, cheese and unflavoured chicken with a side of rice. We had ordered rice as a side for the table and would not have done this if we knew rice came with the enchiladas. Just a tip for the wait staff. We all agreed this was something we would have flagged with the customer if we worked there. When informed manager of our disappointment they offered us a 10% discount which was great. We were quite shocked however when we saw the bill. For entrees, 1 side, 3 drinks, 2 mains it was $110 WITH 10% off. Far too overpriced for the bland flavourless mediocrity we experienced. Would not recommend. As bad as it sounds you could go to a chain like GYG or Zambreros for better Mexican.

Amazing food at a reasonable price. Daily specials during the week, with happy hour on selected drinks. Great service and friendly staff. Will go back again soon!

All staff were exceptionally friendly, hard working and attentive. Best customer service I've had in a long time.Margaritas were delish.Food was a bit too salty and oily (lamb special and drunken prawn fijitas). Ceviche and guac was very nice.
