The food was good but the service was very average. If the service was better I would have given 4 stars.Tips for the manager:1. Greet people immediately on arrival and welcome them.2. If someone asks for a bottle of tap water don't ignore them even if you're not making any money.3. Bring the bill to the table so your customer can review it rather than make them walk to the front counter.4. Give everyone a fortune cookie on the house. Your customers will love it.5. Play some Chinese background music.

We saw the rating before we went in and we hoped people were mistaken, but sadly 3 stars is generous. Menus were different then the menu they charge you on (they have an updated menu at checkout with more expensive prices), they want you to pay money upfront before you eat, no table service but cutlery and food dumped on table. We were given dishes we hadn't ordered. Food quality was what you'd expect from a food court. Only positive was our beers were cold.

Hard to get food over Easter long weekend. Great good (as good as any of the best Chinese anywhere else) and well coordinated pick up with mal Bruce for delivery. Fast service. Will be back.

We went there on a Sunday night. It was super busy. Almost all the table were occupied but did not have to wait long to find a table for 2 of us. We were told the food would take somewhere around 45 mins because the restaurant was super busy. We were okay with that (Thai place nearby had 2 hours wait time). It was clearly visible that the restaurant did not have enough people on. Despite all that, all the staffs were super friendly, calm and smiling. We were served by Eva. She was fantastic, super smiley and super friendly. We ordered Tom Yum soup and Vegetarian Fried rice. The food came much quicker than expected and was yummy. Definitely recommended this place if you are around Jindbayne.

Shameful Chinese restaurantDon't waste your money here,No taste at all, if you ask adding some salt, $1 please. We ordered takeaway chow mian which is fried noodle, they didn't tell you until you found out there is no noodle at all included. Pad See-Eiw? Oh come on, they simply changed noodle in fried noodle to flat noodle and not a taste of Thai noodle at all. This restaurant even ruined Thai noodle.I would give 0 star but as at least one star needs to be there to comment so I select one star. It's should be 0 star.

Both the special fried rice and the combination fried rice were really unique. The food in general was exquisite. If I'm back in Jindabyne, I'll definitely come here again.

Chong Yees Chinese Restaurant
Our group of 8 went on a Friday night. We were seated after about 5 minutes and then waited 2.5 hours for food. There was one girl on the floor and one behind the bar absolutely flat out. We felt awful for the girls and were very understanding but the 2.5 hour wait was enough to deter us from visiting again or recommending the place to anyone else. The food was good but no different to any other Chinese food.
