Coolong Reserve

Recently had a family Picnic here at Coolong Reserve with 4 generations ~ It was a 93rd Birthday Picnic lunch mid week. With the benefit of a Dog section it was ideal to come to a park location somewhat central to everyone ~ although one was from Goulburn, NSW. Despite a few drops we had a roofed picnic table which was nice but with all the lunch items ~ Eskies etc.. it was quite a walk from the car park. A few pics in this photo set not showing it in its busy state with lots of families out having a good time. The drive in was muddy on the upper driveway so used the lower. The council should fix this. More roofed tables and chairs would be better. We were lucky to get one. Maybe a bigger slab area around the table as it was mud!!

The netball courts are great to train on. However, during winter, they need heat lamps rather than just the spotlights.

My daughter comes here for netball practice. There's a well lit court here for the children to practice with a playground right beside it which is well catered for. Nice family place.

Lots of space, little shade, few seats available unless you bring it.

Beautiful park for a family picnic, with BBQ, covered seating, playground, and even a bike-riding area with traffic signs! Plenty of parking spaces.

What a beautiful space this is in the suburb of Castle Hill!There is some parking in the narrow road around one part of the park. There is probably more.A dog park is separated from the general park by a fence.Loads of trees cast shade for heaps of people while leaving loads of sunny areas for others.It is a well kept park with a good size playground.No less than three childrens parties were happening right around the playground yet there was still ample space for everyone and much more.We had a table - I assume there were more.Our special little birthday person had specifically requested this park for her party; when I arrived, I understood why!I hope to visit it again!(I didn't see any bathrooms though I believe they are a good walk away from where we were.)

Nice local park. Good for Bike riding and play, lots of room for kids to run with great sight lines so you can see them! There is one bbq and a couple of permanent tables. There are netball courts which is a great place for the little terrors to crash their bikes while learning! There are toilets near the netball courts which are a little far from the play area but close enough. There is a leash free dog park up the top too. Something for everyone!

Nice park and playground with a nice learn to ride course for kids. It also has netball courts which are great for riding your scooter. Bring your dog as it also has an off leash doggy area on the opposite side. Good picnic spot!

Good little cycle track, however, it does have one part of the track that has a slope which the little ones love screaming down. Does cause collisions if children aren’t wary.Public toilet is down the end near the netball court and only 1 facility is available - does have a change table.There’s BBQ facilities and a bubbler (between the lower and upper netball courts).Good playground equipment to keep the kids entertained.

Nice quiet park with kids play equipment, small bike track and netball courts. Only one BBQ in the entire park, so get in early if you plan on using it. Only one bubbler/tap, which is in the middle of the netball courts. Best to bring your own water bottle.
