Ciloms Airport Lodge

It is a older style hotel but why fix what is not broken. We had a triple room and it was spotless and shower pressure was better than mine at home. The ladies at reception were friendly and very helpful and check in was quick and easy. Beds and pillows are comfy and the kids love the pool. Oh and dont forget the yummy food from the bistro. I would definitely come back if we have a early flight in the future and recommend it to everyone.

We stayed here a few months back and the rooms are a little dated but the bistro is amazing, great service provided by father daughter team. Food is amazing, adult kids love this place, we go back just for the food on a regular basis and hang out for drinks and play pool afterwards. Well done father and daughter you make our night every time keep up the great service!!!!!

All very clean and a fantastic service from the reception. I had to prolong my stay with short notice and a solution was found fast to avoid that I would have to change the room. The place itself is not super fancy but it is the perfect stopover hotel and has everything you need (didn't try the sauna+pool but they were available). It is off the flight paths from both runways of MEL, I didn't hear planes at all with the window closed. Complimentary airport shuttle every 30min (takes ~10min) with option to reserve if your schedule is tight. As I had to stay longer i could also hop on to get to the airport and use a city shuttle from there. Also a nice bistro in house (separately reviewed). Definitely beats the big chains in service, cleanliness and also a bit in price.

The food they served is OK but the room is a lil dusty. Overall OK experience. No shop lots/convenience store within walking distance. Be prepared.

If your on a tight timetable in and out of town this is great.The bar and restaurant is open good hours but don't expect to much.The shuttle is great to and from airport easy as.If your up for a session at the wave pool across the road it seems many people do this. Fly in surf walk across the road.We had a good night sleep woke up close to the airport and a free shuttle, exactly what we wanted.

It's ok, a bit dated and not so much like the photos on booking. ComToo much noise outside the rooms when it was time to sleep.Bonus points for the wave park and 3 blue ducks across the rd, both top venues.

Don't expect luxury, it's an older tired looking motel, but beds were comfy, staff welcoming, nice dinner and breakfast. Nice little extras in the room like hot chocolate mix and biscuits. We couldn't even hear any aeroplanes. We were able to wash our clothes.They gave us a comfy place to stay when our flight was cancelled, at super short notice. Free airport shuttle. Kids loved the pool table and swimming pool. A good choice if you need to be close to the airport.

Excellent location close to airport, free airport shuttle- very quick, so convenient, close to urban surf outdoor wave pool & 3 ducks cafe, comfy beds, swimming pool & spa- bardic but sufficient for overnight stay

Every person I encountered while staying here was excellent. Starting with the incredible older gentleman who picked me up from the airport in the complimentary shuttle; he was so friendly and great to chat to - he really kicked off a great hospitality experience for me. The shuttle arrived in less than 15 minutes from when I called reception, I didn't even have to prearrange a pick-up time. The woman at the front desk was lovely and directed me to the restaurant for dinner and helped me arrange an early morning shuttle back to the airport and a wake-up call. I had dinner in the restaurant, a super creamy lobster bisque which really hit the spot and then off to bed in the super comfy rooms. Early morning check out was a breeze, and the overnight reception worker was somehow still so cheerful and friendly at 5am. Another easy transfer back to the airport - less than 10 minutes! - and my 10 hour stopover was complete. Thanks so much to the team for making what could have been a miserable 10 hours stuck in an airport into a very pleasurable experience.
