We went on the If these walls could talk" tour through the mansion and around the gardens. It was an amazing experience and fascinating how the extremely rich lived over a hundred years ago. My eight year old son loved it. The tour guide got the kids involved and there was plenty for us parents to learn too. We got a huge amount of value for our money.Highly recommend going!If you do go

It was wonderful to walk the grounds and gardens of Rippon Lea again after all these years - I used to help run the property and was its inaugural events manager in the early 1990s. You need to check in advance if the house tours, tea rooms and shop are operating, but it’s definitely worth packing a picnic and spending a few hours in the delightful, heritage grounds of this sanctuary in suburbia! Local residents can visit for free. An absolute must-see for interstate travellers!

Lovely estate as always. Was there to film a wedding, and the manager Jade was super lovely and accommodating. It's always good to get a super nice treatment from venues, especially when we're slowly coming back from hiatus. Always loved Rippon Lea, but this experience just made me love it even more

Should have got there earlier. Mansion closed even though it was mothers day and the place was crowded.Food vendors ran out of food too early.

Was a kids event on for the day. We enjoyed the show and a brief walk around the gardens would like to head back and explore further but would suggest if you like local history and gardens head down.

This is probably the most lavishly decorated house in all of Australia. The exterior is breathtakingly majestic from every angle. The photos speak for itself.

Absolutely beautiful! The place is huge and so well maintained. The gardens are beautiful, especially the fern garden.
