Indian Masala by Hawker Fare
The good: Unique fusion of Indian dishes. A diverse menu covering all corners of the sub continent. Convenient location within a stones throw to the trains and council or street parking. The aloo puri chaat and chicken tikka naan bread were excellent.The bad: a couple of things we ordered were not available which was disappointing. The chicken 65 was hard and stringy (meat wasn’t freshly prepared and had been in the fridge/freezer) and the tandoori prawns are quite a struggle with the tail and shell left on.Would consider visiting again to give it another go.

We've been looking for a good Indian restaurant for the last few years after our local one closed. Finally we found this one yesterday and it was superb! The service was excellent and the food was super tasty. A great range of dishes and some new things for us to try. We'll definitely be back! Thanks so much!

All food we had here was better than one another naan bread. . . Pani puri . .dahi puri . . U named it .. u get confuse which one is best . .. . .definatly recommended for people who wanna try nice indian food . . ..

I’ve never had a bad meal at Hawker Fare, and I’ve had a lot! Food is excellent, not the standard “Aussie Indian”. Quality is great, and they do a good variety of modern and traditional meals. Staff are friendly and always give great service

Indian Masala by Hawker Fare
Started with pani Puri which is a unique flavour experience when eating.Cauliflower bezule was quite cheesy.There are several flavours of curries which can be ordered with different meats : beef, Lamb, chicken, prawns...Flavours were well balanced and each dish tastes different to the other.We had ordered Lamb vindaloo but the meat tasted like beef.3 cheese naan was delicious and went well with all the sauces.

Indian Masala by Hawker Fare
I just ordered Naan, Butter Chicken and Samosa Chat from Menulog but the chicken on Butter Chicken was burnt. Even the portion of the Chicken was less on it as compare to the price. But Samosa Chat was really good. Hope they would address this issues.

Avoid this place like the plague!!! This place uses their own drivers, so it's not Menulog's fault, you WILL get food poisoning and be stuffed around immensely.My order was family size meal (paid around $70) delivery was expected to be 25-35 minutes, it took WELL over an hour until I rang and was told the driver was only 10 minutes away, 40 minutes later I called again, and was told that after the initial call he had called the driver back to the store and was told if I want my food, a new meal would be made but I'd have to come and pick it up from the store. At this point it had been close to 3 hours since I had ordered. After a long phone call and basically pleading from the owner, I begrudgingly came to the store to pick up my food.It was the original food that I had ordered not a newly cooked one as promised, a soggy microwaved mess, the chicken that had been in the meal was (what I didn't know at the time) well past it's safe to consume time.My conversations with the owner had been very dodgy, a long intense phone call about how he didn't want to go out of business, had a family to feed, and if I had anything wrong with the meal he would let me slap him across the face" very uncomforting and scammy/dodgy business practicesI've been down for the last 2 days with food poisoning

Absolutely wonderful food. Starting with the cauliflower bezule - a taste sensation, right through to the saffron rice, malai kofta, paneer tarka masala. Every single dish was sensational. The decor is a little lacking but look past that and try it anyway. You won’t be disappointed!

Indian Masala by Hawker Fare
Fantastic food and great value. Service is always super friendly. We order the Meat lovers combo at least twice a month and there's enough for us for dinner and one of us to have lunch the next day.Goat curry is spectacular! Definitely worth a try, it will become your new favourite.
