I contacted Metal Urges due to their stellar reputation, and they absolutely exceeded expectations. Chris and the team made us a custom engagement ring built around a stone I provided, and they were accommodating and communicative from start to finish.The staff were incredibly friendly and workmanship was top class - we couldn't be happier with the result and we'll be back for our wedding bands!

After deciding I wanted to get my future wife a really special engagement piece, I went to Metal Urges and boy did they deliver that and more!After sending an inquiry email, I dealt primarily with Jeff. He was incredibly generous with his time in our first meeting, and showed me a wide variety of gemstone and metal possibilities, including care tips, cost estimates and designs. The end result was fantastic and my then-fiancee and I were totally blown away.In fact the engagement ring and service was so good, we had to go back to get our wedding bands done too!I cannot recommend the team at Metal Urges enough for their professionalism and workmanship. My husband and I decided we wanted to have our wedding bands made locally, and Metal Urges absolutely exceeded our expectations!! I showed Sandi a photo of something I liked, and her and the team created the most beautiful and unique wedding band that sits so perfectly with my engagement ring! I have had SO many compliments on it. I decided a few months after the wedding that I wanted it resized, which they were only too happy to do. Chris and the team were great, but most importantly the rings they made for us are AMAZING! There is nothing generic about the pieces we now wear and love. They are classic, beautiful and eye catching. For Sera's engagement ring, Chris helped us source an amazing oval yellow sapphire - a process that involved us looking at several pieces sourced by Chris from all over the planet until we found the perfect stone. Then we collaborated on the design process. During this process we were shown 3d images and even a small plastic copy of the ring. Chris and his team were able to give feedback and suggestions on our creative ideas until a design was settled on and the ring was then made. Even though we had a good idea of what the ring would look like, we were still blown away by the finished ring.Obviously, after this awesome experience, we returned to have our wedding bands made. For my wedding band, Jeffrey was very helpful in helping me design a ring that incorporated my father's wedding ring. Jeffrey was able to guide me through the process, and help me make design decisions that both brought my vision to life, but also kept the cost under control. The finished piece encases my father's wedding band (including small diamond and star motif) within white gold bands - making a two tone ring. Its beautiful and meaningful.We highly recommend the team at Metal Urges :-)

I'm really impressed with the work that Metal Urges Fine Jewellery & Diamonds did on my antique 18 carat gold wedding ring. They did an amazing job modifying it for me and I couldn't be happier! The workmanship is faultless and the staff here is so helpful and friendly. The ring came from my partner's great grandfather, who I later found out was a close friend of my own great grandfather. This was an unexpected connection! This, along with the beauty of the ring, makes it precious to me, yet it had become impossible to wear because of the arthritic growth in my finger joints. Thanks so much to the team at Metal Urges; I am overjoyed to be able to wear this treasure once more.

I purchased my gold wedding band in Sydney during an extremely hot and humid week. My hands and fingers were sweaty and puffy and that meant my ring was created based on that size.Once I was back in Hobart, where I live, my hands returned to a more normal size with the cooler weather. Unfortunately this meant my wedding band could easily slip off my finger.I was only a few weeks away from the wedding day and decided I should get it resized locally. I dropped into Metal Urges, confirmed my new size, and they had it complete within the week! Huge thanks to the team :)

The professional team worked with myself and my husband to design and make spectacular unique jewellery. I absolutely love my engagement ring (an Australian green sapphire). Our wedding bands are perfect. I had a remodel of an existing ring and it turned out beautifully. My favourite is a very special necklace that involved using an existing ring and transforming it into most stunning necklace. I hardly ever take the necklace off. It’s a work of art. The team at metal urges are amazing! We thoroughly recommend them. The Art Collect loan payment option was very convenient and easy to set up and helped us get the jewellery we wanted and pay it off over 12 months.
