Fish cocktails were overcooked and batter too thick, chips were bland and below average. Tried this place based on the good reviews but far from satisfied.

I have been eating at this place for the last 38yrs. Great variety, Very fresh food. Friendly service. I actually call her Ma" cause she's like a second mother to me......lol. Always making sure I am ok and eating well

This place has the best chicken in Sydney I've tasted so far. Friendly workers and a good range of great takeaway food. Been coming here for years and of all the other fish and chips takeaway shops I've been to, this shop is number 1 every time. 5 stars well deserved

Outstanding! What a surprise from little Doonside, this place was IMMACULATELY clean despite there being only one staff member on. Chips were lovely, the chicken moist and flavourful, I have nothing negative to say no matter how hard i look!

Got the chicken tenderloins and they were tasty, cooked well and good flavour.Chips are standard burger bar, decent but not fantasticSmart transport mediums for delivery. All in all decent joint

Me and my wife Think it's a best takeaway charcoal chicken place we've been going for year's never a problem and if there was they are happy to help fix it after getting home the next time we go back they replaced it or they us try to see if it upto standard for example the seafood mix prawns in it was horrible and called them up straight away to advise something is wrong they said they are so sorry and are happy to replace but due to living in Newcastle we where already on the train they promised to fix it and next time we was down and when we went there they told me to try and it was problem fixed don't care what anyone says seriously get a life sure there chips was oily but when calling and letting them know they fixed it now I got family here and visit every few weeks they are wonderful people doing there best we'll stand right next to them and support them.

I have been going here for years. The food is always very tasty and good. The service is prompt and always with a smile. Great chicken. Potato scollops and to die for. Fish cocktails lovely. I have been to other takeaway in doonside and always come back to this one. Thankyou

I wasted $100 here today. I'm spewing! Food looked and smelled good but when we all sat down to eat it was crud. The lady that served me was nice but unfortunately the food was not!! I was looking forward to having a mad feed with my Mum and family on Mother's Day but it was horrible. The chips looked old, the meat had no flavour. The scallops was the only thing that was somewhat eatable. I chucked the lot out. I will not come back here that's for sure. This doesn't even deserve 1 star rating, sorry just my opinion.
