Easy access and good parking. Great view of the Pacific ocean. Good for Whale watching.

Ballina Head .. is a scenic headlands , between Lighthouse Beach & Shelly BeachThe main touristy spot , on this East Ballina destinations .. is the Ballina Head Lookout .. from here , apart from the great views of the rocky outcrop below & out to sea … you also have beautiful views south towards Richmond River breakwater .. & northern views past Black Head & short way beyondThere is a small carpark at the lookoutAlso standing a little further up the hill , is the historical Richmond River LighthouseThe views from the lighthouse , ain’t nearly as good as the lookout below , due to suburbia & tree around the lighthouse

Ballina Head
The best part of Ballina would have to be the ocean view when you walk out along the inlet at Ballina Head. You can often see dolphins out and about from here.
