A Picture perfect beach.

Grossly negligent. Supplied a radio without battery. This became a VERY serious problem.We rented a Hobie Wave. We were sent out in medium-heavy breeze (18 knots). I am an experienced Hobie skipper which allowed us to hire the boat. Before departure i performed a radio-check.A part failure meant OUR BOATS MAST FAILED.The dismasting was NOT the club's fault.What was unforgivable was our supplied radio had no battery.We were left drifting toward the harbour heads without ability to make contact through radio. Only through the kindness of other vessels were we able to make contact to the base and be towed back.I cannot stress enough how dangerous it is to be drifting without a radio. Not everyone has the experience to manage such a situation.The club gave a full refund and recognised the fault was there own.That said, to be sent out without a working radio is simply unforgivable. I cannot stress enough how dangerous it is to be drifting in the harbour without a radio. We were at the mercy of the wind, tides and currents.Appalling. Genuinely apppaling.Boat failure - not the club's fault.Inability to radio back - entirely the club's fault.

The friendliest sailing club in Sydney and in the most beautiful location. Whether you are 5 or 85 or anywhere in between you'll enjoy being a member and sailing there.

Formal racing on Saturdays, twighlight races Thursday evenings in the summer.

Had our kids birthday party here and it was amazing. They took off with all the kids for 2 hours of sailing and paddle boarding giving us time to cook a bbq and relax. Very well organised and a fun time had by all.

Great place to share Fish & Chips on the beach

Today I took a stand up paddle boarding lesson with Balmoral Sailing Club for a group of 5 and it was awesome. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and patient, making it easy for us to learn and enjoy the sport, including when we fell in :) The equipment was top-notch and the location on the water was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend the team and instructors at Balmoral Sailing Club to anyone looking to try stand up paddle boarding or any other water sport. Five stars all around!

Professional service down at the Balmoral Sailing Club. Had a great day out on the Kayak, and have been 3 times in the past two weeks...would recommend them!
