Do not come here if it's not for the Monday's Porterhouse special (which is good).Came for lunch on a weekday and got the 'Beef Burger'. WORST burger I've eaten !! The beef patty (or whatever that was) was un-eatable, couldn't even be chewed. The only good thing about the meal were the chips.

Super dog friendly and staff went out of their way for cuddles. Steak was cooked perfectly and hubby loved the barra burger. Thx

We have just eaten the most 3rd rate meal we have ever had in Darwin . 2 ridiculously small Child serves of dried overcooked crumbed chicken and chips. 2 Beef Burgers. Maccas. which I do not particularly fancy, is way better and cheaper. Went back for more chips and Garlic bread to feed hungry kids. The so called garlic bread was deep fried slices with no garlic! Quite pathetic. Food here to be avoided. Not coming back. Far better elsewhere.

I’m a regular here and loved to come here for a good feed! Unfortunately I took a friend here and recommended the main squid dish. It came out looking completely different to what it did when I ate there six days prior. The squid was completely different, honestly tasted frozen/pre-made and the serving size was minuscule in comparison to what it normally is. I just assumed it was a bit late and they were probably busy, hence why we tried to brush it off. We ate the chips and salad and decided to order the main garlic prawns as we weren’t satisfied with the squid. Such a shame as the original squid was beautiful. The prawns come with sour dough, olive oil, fresh garlic, prawns and rocket according to the menu. We received overcooked prawns, half a burger bun and salad bag mix with no dressing. At that point it almost felt like a bit of a joke. We did voice our displeasure to our waitress but essentially felt if wasn’t resolved. They were very empathic and kind and did let us know they were meant to say they were out of sour dough.When we were able to talk to the manager they handled the situation amazingly and was extremely attentive! Very thankful we were able to come to a conclusion in the end

My rating is in relation to my meal tonight, for a few drinks and a game of pool this pub is ok but I'm not eating there again in a hurry.....why? my 9 yo son's cheeseburger was the best meal of 3, rump steak was as tough as leather eldest sons parmi had no flavour..... If you're after drinks a punt n a game of pool fill ya boots but to eat .... noEspecially as the steak meals give an option of chips n salad OR mash n veg but fails to mention if you do choose to have mash n veg add $5..... Do not recommend for a meal......

What a lovely place to have lunch looking at at the beach.All our meals were great, we had the tasting platter, yummo. Just enough for the 2 of us for lunch. The toilets were spotless and there was a disabled one. Very well stocked bar will alot of varieties. You can order drinks and food at your table with the electronic device. There is Inside and outside dining, with high bench or normal tables. There is a ramp for disabled to enter the hotel. ATM and a bottle drive through are on the premises. THE staff were friendly and cleared away our plates when we were finished, nothing was too much trouble...

Seems to have gone downhill unfortunately. No more Monday ‘steak night’ or any other specials apparently. No more more smoked/bbq menu. Four people ordered at the same time, same table - two meals served about 15 minutes after the first two. Undercooked (raw) burger patty and a cold steak. Still a nice pub/setting but a shame the food quality is nothing like what it was.

First time there after what looks like a change in ownership. The chicken parmi was awesome, tasted great and was moist and tender. Probably the best one I've had in Darwin.
