Helens Learn to Drive

Helen is a wonderful teacher - especially for mature aged learner-drivers! She made me feel at ease and gave me great driving tips. As an absolute bonus we often had a laugh and a chatter. A great experience - thanks Helen!

When I had my first lesson with Helen, I had completed my hundred hours and was looking for help with preparing for the test. And as a neurodivergent kid with a history of being really really bad at tests, I was not confident that I was capable of passing.During my lessons with Helen, she completely dissolved that fear. She broke down the different parts of the test in a way that was easy to understand and I passed my first try. Helen is a wonderful teacher and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I cannot recommend Helen highly enough. As a driving instructor she is kind, patient, will boost your confidence and teach you everything you need to know about driving.

This review was meant to be given 4 months back - but better late than never!!So I met Helen in January for the first time a week before my test. This was a class, Helen, booked me last minute and she was really amazing at accommodating me (her calendar was all booked out for months, and she offered to do a class with me on Sunday).She was calm, supportive , empathetic and funny. A complete combination as a driving instructor. The best thing I liked about her, she was confident on my driving skills and seeing her I knew I could ace this.Next thing was my driving test, a week later, and after one more lesson from her on that day, I passed it with just one minor (passed with flying colours, I hope to say). So guess, my experience says it all. Her passing rate is 100% and when she says so, she does so!Helen, you are a lovely person and I enjoyed our interactions thoroughly. Thank you for believing in me !

I highly recommend Helen as a driving instructor. She is friendly and has a great sense of humour, which made things more relaxed and much more enjoyable. Helen helped me build the confidence and skills I needed to become a safe and cautious driver. She is very knowledgeable regarding the driving test and helped prepare me for my test. I couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor!

Helen is amazing. We will definitely be using her for our next learner. Her approach really calms anxious drivers, she is patient, calm and really works with the learner to meet their style. We cannot recommend her enough.

Helen is an excellent driving instructor. My teenage boys had several lessons with Helen and came back driving more confidently.Helen provided regular feedback to me regarding their session and what they could focus on before their next session.Helen is patient, fun and was very responsive to text messages and always accommodated the boys busy school and sports schedule. Helen is truly a life saver! My daughter was finding learning to drive very challenging. We had tried other instructors and my daughter was finding lessons so stressful that we were ready to give up. Helen kept things fun and positive and went above and beyond to help my daughter make significant progress and ultimately pass her driving test on the first try. We are so grateful to have found Helen and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled, patient and kind teacher.
