Parkes Street General Practice
I rang on Easter Friday to book a COVID vaccine appointment and was by message directed elsewhere even though the website says they are open. Also the website has not been spell checked before loading because the instructions say ‘first DOES only’ instead of ‘first DOSE only’ and is very confusing particularly for non English speaking older people. I hope they contact me urgently as both my partner & I have medical issues requiring clarification.Rex Hewett

Great service and great Doctors. I have been seeing Dr. Htet for a couple of years now as the primary caregiver for my prostate cancer in association with my Urologist. I can not fault the care, treatment, and advice I am given every time I attend an appointment there. Now the clinic has it's own pathology nurse as well which saves me time when needing my regular blood tests to monitor my PSA level. From the staff on the front desk to the nurses and doctors I have always been made to feel like my health is their number 1 priority.

I regularly visit this practice and very happy about the professionalism of the staff and convenience of the location. The waiting time is generally very low (as long as you come at the time you booked) and the doctors go above and beyond to fulfill your requests. There is a little kids corner to keep your young ones happy and a nice playground in the park nearby to relax afterwards.

My daughter was seen by one of the Doctors at the surgery for the last appointment of the day late last week. She had a severely sore throat and a rash all over. All she was told was it's a viral infection and go home and isolate. She has managed to get into see her normal Doctor at a different surgery today only to find out she has severe tonsillitis and requires antibiotics. What an absolute disgrace.

Very unprofessional practice!Dr Sally asks on my face in the first 5 minutes of the consultation whether I would prefer to see any another GP because she doesn't have my history. This is a ridiculous thing to say because patient history is stored on the computer which she used later anyways. What is it that this Dr did not want to treat a patient like me? Is it my skin colour, accent or the appearance? The management will need to answer this. No empathy as a patient whatsoever and was utterly arrogant towards me.

Only giving one star because I can't give no stars!!!!!! Just went to see a dr there and he could not have been more useless!!!! I have extremely bad flu and all he said was go home and rest....after waiting for over an hour in the hot stuffy waiting room I was in with him for 2min and he did nothing!!!!!! I have been in Helensburgh for over 20 year and first time I have been there and it will be the last!!!!!!!
