Initial consult is $395, comes unprepared which minus 10 min of time to find documents and leaves 10 min early, so you paid for one hour but get 40min.Only points out the unlikelihood of legal success and the quoted price of $10-15,000 if I decide to proceed to court. The alternative is then offered to write a basic legal letter for $990 which I can write by myself. Other lawyers charge $200-300 for a similar letter.No real solutions and only negatives pointed out.1 star for being frank.

Well for my first ever phone appointment with a lawyer, or ever speaking to one, I was very impressed. Considering I am very young and stuck in a situation I've never been in before, I was impressed at how both Danielle and Ulas were. I learnt a fair bit, had no questions to ask as it was explained thoroughly and with extremely clear English. I am proud to have Ulas support me in the near future, as I believe he's a very thorough lawyer and seems to be very good at his job. He's also very easy to talk to. His timing was impeccable , right as the clock hit 4pm, my phone rang, this made me very pleased. Danielle was very helpful and extremely kind, upon my initial call to GTCL. All in all, one very pleased customer and I'm sure my opinion isn't going to change.

Kirsten was really professional, talked me through all of the possible outcomes, was never over bearing and if I didn’t understand something she was extremely patient with me. Would consider using her again and I recommend the service, they got back to me quickly and it was all very professional. And all from the comfort of my own home.

Unfortunately I had to reduce my initial 4 star review to 1 as it’s as low as I can rate it. The review below spoke glowingly of this firm as I had only had my initial consult. Not only was I given the wrong advice, but when I went to the Melbourne Family Circuit Court to lodge the documents, they wouldn’t accept the paperwork as it was so flawed. They instructed me to go away and seek further alternative advice before presenting again. As a disability support pensioner on a very limited budget, I thought I would try to resolve it with them, seeing as I had already paid them. I was referred to a senior member who did nothing but fob me off. Some months later, I finally obtained the information that I needed. Go To Court Lawyers are a shopfront for lawyers who obviously need a medium for drumming up business. That says it all.My initial consult was fantastic, Madeline gave me the exact advice I needed and the directions to move forward to handle my family law case independently. Wish I’d contacted her before now. We’ll see how it pans out, but I would rate 5 stars based on my initial consult. Relieving to know I can call on her if I need to.

My inquires during the 1 hour (40 minute) consultation were met with bleak answers, zero enthusiasm and lack of interest was expressed when it came to reviewing my case. The advise I was given I put into practice and it got me no further. Seek else where if you would like a thorough examination of your predicament, first and last impression was bitterly disappointing not to mention costly in my already stressful and trying time. Bar was low!

Call them for advice,- they said $300 for first appointment, don't really wanted to know the problem.

I was pretty impressed right from the very beginning and they seemed quite organised. Kristen was very good to talk to. She cleared up all the questions I had and I felt like she had a good understanding of our situation. Would highly recommend! What I like most is that they were very polite and friendly, and didn't make you seem like another customer paying money by doing the minimum requirement. This company is the real deal!

These people fully lied to me. And not being a lawyer and being able to know they were was interesting in itself. It was so obvious that it was pathetic. These people are parasites that will prey on those that are naive enough to let them. STAY AWAY!!!

I had my appointment with Carl. His tips were really helpful. Worked really well for me. He's knowledgeable and experienced. He was able to tell me exactly what to do next even though my situation was too complicated. Thanks Carl!
