Very nice secluded cabin on the edge of a river, very clean and tidy with really good hosts, my wife and I enjoyed a week long stay .

Best place to spend time unwinding. Stunning views of the river.Andy made us feel at home, Ruffy would swing past for a pat along with the birds and other “pets”…Definitely on the return visit list!

We had the most lovely three day stay at Riverdowns. It's so peaceful and tranquil, and has everything you need to pass the time. The perfect place to unwind.

Rustic cottage, very fancy inside, dish washer, huge spa bath, heating and cooling, aircon, pot belly stove, dvds and TV, water slow to fill bath, could do with a dusting of the ceiling beams, check dishes and pots are cleaned before use. No WiFi or mobile service inside cottage but a little mobile reception outside. Amazing bucolic landscape. We would love to stay again. Andy was very helpful when I needed WiFi for 2 hour skype conference. The Henriettas left us fresh eggs. Gorgeous trout filled sparkling river. House mouse minds his own business. Keep food and plates covered. Can't wait to visit again. Lovely escape! Bit expensive.
