Very friendly owerner great service well presented not to expensive great overall place

A few days ago I came here for a haircut. All I wanted was a trim and what happened was a total screw up. Grace is the usual hairdresser I go to and she cuts my hair beautifully, I had even requested specifically for Grace to cut my hair when I made my booking.When I came into the salon it was busy, Grace told me to wait and I assume she instructed her colleague to cut my hair. This is when it all goes down hill. I had asked for a hair wash so, she washes my hair. And this hair wash was by far the saddest most cursory wash. All salons will at least massage your head a little while shampooing, this was not done.She begins to cut my hair and I asked the hair dresser twice if she has had experience with cutting curly hair. She said yes, and at every moment she was cutting my hair a mistake was made.I realize now I should have been assertive and insisted on Grace cutting my hair as has done it before. I gave my hair a few days to settle into the cut but a bad hair cut is a bad hair cut. Nothing can fix it. So close to Christmas, this is devastating.I came in for a trim. I specifically said keep the length. I left with all my hair gone and a little rat tail that was supposed to be the length". I have a mullet now.I only write this review because I am well and truly upset

My Frist time, I will be going back. Grace most kind, friendly and welcoming to me into her family owned business. My hair looks stunning, she dyed it, styled it with great care and so helpful with advice on all my questions I had. They have eye lash tinting, eye lash curling and even ear piercing the ONE STOP SHOP !

Great service, friendly staff and good prices

In my wife’s words: You can go there for a haircut but hair colour STAY AWAY. Not sure if its the quality of colour or her work but didn’t make any difference to my hair at all. Disappointed!!
