Very nice staff and very professional

Have always found the staff polite and helpful.

I had a referral. Pregnant and fasted overnight. Waited 45 min. Then went in to be told in a really rude way that they can't accept my referral as it wasn't filled out correctly. The lady handled it so badly. Just kept going on and on about how bad the referral was instead of giving me solutions or helping me. I told her how long I waited (not blaming her) that I fasted. She had no compassion. Didn't care. Just seemed really angry. I had to keep my calm and ask her exactly what I need to do to solve it. Turned out just had to call maternity ward and get a number. Apparently it happens all the time from the Angliss. She told me they turn away people allot because of it. If that's the case get your receptionist to check the referral as we get there.The receptionist is checking everything else anyways. Would take an extra 30 seconds. Saves people waiting so long to be turned away without help at the end of the line. She told me there was a sign in the waiting room. There's well over 30 signs and advertising in the waiting room. I understand it wasn't her fault but she was that rude and angry about it I walked out and broke down in tears. I didn't react to her, I just wanted to get the bloodwork done and get out so I don't expose myself anymore than I need to. Will never go back.
