Grade 3 walk is ok, steps are steep but ok, then a walk into a cave" where fallen rocks form a roof

Thunderbolt's Lookout
A leisurely walk ftom the carpark to the base of the lookout. A few steps up to the cave entrance. Duck your head and follow the track through the rocks and up several sets of both stone and metal steps to the lookout. Wow wow wow. 360° of magnificent views..

Thunderbolt's Lookout
Fantastic little walk to the lookout with an interesting final ascent to the lookout. It was a great surprise. The views are amazing. Full 360 degree. The walking track is in excellent condition. The picnic area at the start of the walk has tables, toilets and fireplaces. Would make a great day out with plenty to do and see.

Was a fantastic joy to visit here. Nice and easy climb to the base of the rocks, then a surprising twist and turn until the last climb up up the lookout with the most fantastic view.

Good walk up from carport. Take water with you if hot. Great view from top. Amenities at carport are brand new after recent fires.

Thunderbolt's Lookout
Great panoramic views of Torrington reserve. Quite a hike up to see it through beautiful boulders but definitely worth the hike.
