If you love great food and great coffee Hobson Rosebud is the perfect place for brekkie!The staff are so friendly and attentive, from recommendations to a good chat Eleni welcomed us as if we were in her home.Absolutely a must to visit!

Hobson is one of the best cafes for breakfast, brunch, lunch in the area. The space is beautiful and light with lots of tables inside and outside options too. The staff here are friendly and helpful. Coffee is top notch along with their juices and whole drinks menu. Food covers all the great breakfast, brunch and some good lunch options. Takeaway cabinet top for food on the go. It is a little on the pricer side, but it is worth it as serving sizes are good, flavours are beautiful and you can chill and relax with your friends without feeling rushed. Great spot and we'll be back

Breakfast was fair to average, menu read very well, but my brisket eggs benny was very dry and the sweet potato fry were nothing more than a ribbons. The buttermilk pancakes were also dry, our coffee's for us were very bitter, also we seat outside due to the music inside a little loud to try and have chat

I recently visited this place and I have to say, I was blown away by the beautiful environment! The atmosphere is so chill and it really puts you in the holiday mood. But the experience wasn't just about the environment - the food was absolutely amazing as well!The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. And let me tell you about the soy latte - it was hands down the best I've ever had! The chicken was so juicy and packed with flavor, and the salad was refreshing and perfectly balanced.All in all, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal in a beautiful setting. From the friendly staff to the delicious food, everything was top-notch. I can't wait to come back and experience it all over again! Actually I am planning to visit them today!

visiting Mornington and this is our first day breakky place. so good, so big. definitely wanna back here again. it’s right next to where we staying for the next few days.smashed avo look pretty simple and delicious.porridge taste sweet but not overly done. recommended it

The decor of this place is very trendy and definitely ticks a lot of boxes aesthetically.Ordering is through QR code and there is a weekend and card surcharge.With the use of a QR code I would expect better service as there is more time for other tasks however this is where the place is lacking.It was fairly busy but not at full capacity and no busier than a standard cafe. To get seated we waited 5-10 minutes (there were many free tables) and had two people acknowledge us to tell us someone would seat us soon. The food was quite tasty and the freshly cooked dishes come out quickly. However you will need to request for cutlery. The coffees came after we had finished eating our food (ordered at the same time) and after having to be chased up twice. This is unacceptable for a cafe. It took over 45 minutes for the coffees.Later when we ordered a second coffee and two pastries from the cabinet, the coffee took 10-15 minutes this time (much better) but the ready to go pastries had to be chased up after 20 minutes. We noticed that the order tags got taken out and just left on the bench where no one dealt with them.Unfortunately it seems as there is not a lot of competition, the standards are not held as high as they should.At $7.60 for an Oat Chai Latte and almost $30 a plate I would at least expect better service.

Nice aesthetic. But given the prices of the food, I think it would be quite reasonable for a business to alert customers that there is a weekend surcharge. There is literally no warning, until after the tip page. The justification that we should pay anything for small business is at best an excuse for them not warning people about a weekend surcharge. Will not be coming back.

A local casualLunch to celebrate a friends birthday and this proved an ideal choice - a glass of Prosecco to start and a choice of light lunch options at a reasonable price.Eggs Benny with sweet potato chips and the sweet corn fritters on a quinoa salad were popular.Friendly staff and spacious seating arrangements .
