Wonderful cellar doors, friendly and attentive service. We had the light & bright as well as the wine and cheese tasting. Nabbed myself a bottle of The Local I’ve never tried a wine that tasted like grapefruit before! It was delicious :)

Adelaide Hills is so beautiful. Golding Wines nestles between grape vines and native bush land hills. Long white dirt coloured road leads you to the tasting room with tables with white tablecloths under a canopy of trees. Staff greet you with a smile and inviting conversation. We listen to the explanation of the different flights of wine on offer, red and white, with some bubbles. Selection made after selecting our table. Today being Tuesday was quiet at lunch time we did not make a reservation but might be an idea so as not to be disappointed. Staff very attentive, knowledgeable, and polite. Food is also available. We settled for a cheese plater with Fig paste. Very relaxed environment and sitting outside in March is comfortable with low volume light music playing in the back ground. There is a drop off area close to the main buiding for people with a disability or mobility issues. Slope from main carpark makes for an easy walk up. We will definitely be back. Try for yourselves.

I just did the Nido experience with my bridal party as a fun pre wedding planning catch up and it was spectacular. The view, the setting, the food, the service and of course the company. Everything about it was five stars. We will be back to do it again for sure. X

5 course meal. $70 a head. Minimum 2 people.Very ordinary made up of old left over tomatoes. Some old duck that tasted like corned beef.Really taking the mickey. Most certainly wont be going back.

The mushrooms and egg is very nice. It will be even better if the food can be service quick. It took around 3 hours for the 3 courses. We were there on a Saturday for a lunch. However the environment is nice and warm. Therefore it is a good place if you want to spend an afternoon there.

Don't be fooled by the dirt road to get there, it's a gorgeous cellar door with a sumptuous aspect. There's an inviting lawn to picnic on to the right as you go through the paved entrance. I was greeted by a girl who stated the kitchen was about to close for 3pm. It was 1:50pm. The truth being you needed a booking for a table...she said (maybe it was because of a large party...then say so!). For wine, the go is to try a flight for $15-$20, with a thrown in 'amuse bouche'. The wine is delicious and varied in the 5 varieties, in a setting that is prim and stylish. Didn't see wine priced by the glass here. For a more relaxed and informal setting on a good day, the lawn with it's sweeping views is panorama laid back in a glass.

As a wedding photographer I have shot weddings at a lot of venues and wineries around the state and Golding is one of the absolute best venues when it comes to photo locations and the quality of the food, wine and service. There are plenty of locations easily accessible on foot just a few minutes from the ceremony, for the more adventurous couples the option exists to hop in a car and do some exploring for some more exotic locations.Whether it's vines, dirt roads, open fields or a lake you want, Golding has them all right there. And it's one of the few wineries that can hold a couple of hundred guests (or less than that with plenty of room to breath).Highly recommended!

This is a relaxing venue supported by great food and amazing wine. The grounds are very well kept and ideal for families, there is plenty of space for kids to play. They have a great wedding setup out the back! The restaurant is great and the pizza is tasty. This is definitely one of our favourite Hills wineries!
