I bought a custard donut from there this morning and it was subpar. The donut itself was slightly stale and instead of piping in the custard, the donut was cut in half vertically with the custard placed within. A good custard may have saved this slightly, however thw custard tasted like custard powder was used rather than being made from scratch. You wouldn't expect a vanilla slice to taste like custard powder, so i find it unacceptable for a donut to. Regardless, the staff member who served me was lovely

Worst cake iv ever had, a very tacky version of what is shown on the website . Tasted horrible, very chewy icing. Disappointed i couldn’t enjoy my birthday cake ? $4 something to add on the chocolate plaque that couldnt even hold the writing properly!

Ordered a box of vegetarian ribbon sandwiches for my birthday picnic and they were really fresh and delicious. The customer service people were helpful and really lovely. Please send more sandwiches.

I got a marble cake here. It was okay. Nothing amazing about it. The quality of the cake can be better. But the service is very good. They are very helpful people.

I had a birthday voucher from here so I used it to try the vegan sausage roll. It was extremely salty but tasted relatively “meaty”. That said, I’ve never had a normal sausage roll so it’s hard to compare. Either way, it filled me up and the staff were lovely, further enhancing my birthday experience. I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to eat here again, but my options were limited, I wouldn’t be sad if left with this choice.

Ferguson Plarre Bakehouse in North Melbourne is OK but definitely nothing special, the quality of pies and baked Pastries can be rather inconsistent, there is definitely a lot of room for improvement, I can't say I would Recommend.
