If I could leave no stars I would It was a nice practise before the good Drs left Now they are insensitive & don't care To be told by the arrogant Dr John Oh that I need to give back by getting work instead of taking is insulting to someone who lives with chronic pain

I brought my daughter here and had a lovely experience, doctor and staff were professional and caring. Also thank you to the receptionist Nadia for being such a sunshine, staff like you make doctors visits much more pleasant! Highly recommend.

Different doctor everytime, was told I couldn't be in that much pain if I hadn't seen a doctor for 12 months! I said it has been hard due to COVID and working but my history is all on the computer, his answer was I only have fifteen minutes to see you and don't have time to read it!". There was a lot lot more to this horrible experience but I only have 15mins to write it! Thanks Doctor J Oh you really need to get another proffession because you have no care for this one!"

The surgery is kept clean, reception staff are always kind and helpful. The doctors will go above and beyond to ensure you’re cared for, especially when there are complex health conditions at play. All of the team at Vincentia Bay Medical are supportive and kind and deserve to be treated as such.

The Reception are very kind and helpful, even when they are very busy and low on staff..I have been a patient for seven years and have only positive things to say..The doctors can have a bit of a turn around.. but having said that, each doctor I have had, has been lovely..My recent doctor, Dr Babic, is extremely thorough and also treats holistically, with a combination of natural and traditional medicine, which is rare, and has helped considerably.- Naomi

THIS CLINIC SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO BULK BILL whilst they seek to deprive patients their rights to medicines they require for legitimate reasons, like stage 4 cancer. Denied prescribing me morphine after 3 years because “ I was told I was a burden to the pbs system”. Been 5 weeks with no follow up. Except to send to me a patient ban letter to access their clinic!!! In Australia 2023. We have foreign doctors and staff telling Australian citizens who pay taxes, and bulk bill for their services, denying a taxpayer their human rights to a bulk billing practice and medicines covered by our taxes. My message, become a private paying clinic, and don’t rely on my taxes to pay for your clinic!!!The reception staff are rude if you don’t tow their scripted line. Have zero empathy for patients, who are obviously attending for medical reasons. The high turnover of staff speaks to this issue. The doctors are only here to complete the two years required for their training. They if not all come from middle eastern countries that have absolutely no cultural understanding of Australia, the Medicare system and the pbs. A collorary to this is that their assessments are non- holistic, biased and at their whim, decide to stop a patient’s medication régime without without considering any back up to stop withdrawal symptoms. Thus, failing in their duty of care and Hippocrates to do no harm. This medical practice forms it’s cultural values brought in by the value systems of the drs own religious and cultural beliefs that don’t embody Australian values in any case.essentially regional Australia gets the bottom of the barrel drs, because they are paid huge government incentives to stay here for 2 years. These are our taxes been wasted on their career ambitions. The PBS scheme is paid and made possible by tax payers. Tax payers like me who have paid for well over 30 years. Yet, last week I had the agonising displeasure of a Iranian Dr telling me I no longer could be prescribed my morphine because “ I am a burden to the PBS scheme” and, thus I am denied a treatment that they have supported me in receiving for 3 years. Expecting me to go cold turkey. Meanwhile, my terminal cancer continues to exist and will until I die. I am writing to the Health Care Complaints Commissioner for this repugnant and blatant denial of my need to relieve pain. No alternatives have been provided or supported. Leaving me without my morphine or any alternative pain management. The drs do not respect a patient’s wishes, and rights to self determination on what the want and how to treat their own bodies. It is my strong belief, that this medical service is not managed in and ethical manner. The drs are not upholding their Hippocrates oath, but rather causing more harm, and neglecting their duty of care!!!We as a collective society in regional nsw should protest, and demand the government to provide us with Australian citizens that have been here for at least twenty years. Understands Australian culture, and that the rights of Australians, should not be decided by an influx of immigrant drs, with little to know regard of the social, cultural and ethical differences from the country they came from!!!

I had to find a new doctor as the doctors i was seeing from other practices kept coming and going. I found Southport Metro and it has doctors who have been there long term, my first visit was very positive and i really like the fact it has a pathology dept attached. Its nice to have a doctor who knows and understands your medical history and can provide appropriate medical advice

In nearly 18 months of attending centre we have had excellent service and never had any trouble making appointments by phone. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because whenever we get used to one Dr. He/she is not there for long. But all the Drs and allied staff and reception have been very friendly, caring and helpful. Thank you.
