A Taste Of Burrum
Well, this is not a taste of BurrumThe beautiful people of that great little town of Burrum deserve better.Tonight I ordered battered cod, small chips a seafood stick and potato scallop.The fish was paper thin hidden in a very thick floury batter overcooked outside underdone inside. the chips were dry the scallop thin and slimySeafood stick saved the day. The rest went in the bin.Never again will I walk through that door.

Great place to grab a coffee or cold drink. Just one block from the waterfront you can get a takeaway and go sit on a bench and enjoy the water vista. Seem popular for their fish send chips.We had a cappuccino plus a large caramel milkshake. Milkshake made with 2 scoops of ice cream was very rich and yummo. The cappuccino was initially very hot , once cooked down a bit tasted good.Definitely stop by for a try.

I'll let my 10yr old daughter write this review.Ordered $16 hot chips- disappointing portion supposedly for 6+ serves, this is very unlikely- under seasoned- extremely oilyVery disappointing considering the prime location for a super successful fish and chip store. Quality has most certainly dropped with ownership change

Fantastic Homemade cakes & slices. Yummy generous sized breakfasts & barista made coffee. Julie & her staff extremely friendly & meals are all at affordable prices. Best Bacon & eggs anywhere!

I never comment unless it is absolutely deserved, this was the worst ‘food’ I’ve had in Queensland and I’ve eaten at some dodgy places! Fish was that bad the server said he had to recook. We ordered the Family Pack 2, with potato scallops and pineapple fritters, was fu$&en terrible, second hand ekka oily, 50 min wait, family of six shared 5 lemon slices rest went in the bin, completely unreasonable there were four workers and we walked into an empty shop, go elsewhere would drive to Hervey Bay before reordering here, you have been warned!

Ordered a chicken burger and banana milkshake.The chicken pattie was store bought and was small compared to the roll, plenty of salad though.Milkshake could have been a little stronger taste wise.Friendly service

A Taste Of Burrum
Excellent Fish and Chips, fresh Australian Barramundi, Red Emperor plus other fish, served with a light salad. Great coffee and very friendly, attentive service. Centrally located, easy walk from Caravan Parks, beach and boat ramps. Highly recommended.
