I bought some hair ties in a sealed packet. Took the packet (with the receipt) back the next day because they were clearly the wrong size (silly me!). The store staff (& subsequently the store manager) refused a refund on the basis that although the packet was clearly unopened, it COULD HAVE BEEN opened.The manager then falsely claimed that Chemist Warehouse around the corner does not give refunds either. (That was part of her justification.)I was so disgusted. I left and walked around to Chemist Warehouse. It turned out that CW have a much bigger range, and I quickly found what I needed. When I asked at Chemist Warehouse about refunds, the cashier looked at me funny and said Of course we give refunds!".These days
